16.01.2022 What an awesome end to 2020. We had our two youngest teams play the final games for South End Spirit for the year today. These boys aged 6-8 playing FDBA U10 for the first time are all amazing . They are passionate team players who LOVE the game . We have enjoyed watching their development in the short time they have been with us and cannot wait to see everything they bring in 2021! 05.01.2022 Updated Spectator Guidelines FDBA FDBA Important Spectator Update To clear up any uncertainty regarding spectators FDBA provides the following statement.... The following applies for all FDBA competitions effective Tuesday 24/11/2020 until further notice: Junior Teams (U18) Each child is limited to one parent, guardian or carer spectator only Siblings are not permitted as spectators 1 x Coach, Team Manager & Scorer may attend and are not counted as spectators Senior Teams No spectators permitted 1 x Scorer may attend only this person must sign in at the venue We understand this will be difficult for many families; however, it is important our return to indoor competitions is completed in a COVID Safe manner.

04.01.2022 What a 2020 it’s been for the family at South End Spirit! Start, Stop, ISO! Our club started with 3 teams at the start of 2020 and quickly grew across 4 Associations. Our commitment to all our players, their development and enjoyment of the game is acknowledged by our current players and the waitlists we already have for next season. Our committee worked hard to set up this club and keep it active over iso. We would like to acknowledge the efforts of Roxanne Jeffries who s...tarted in the VP position and was active in setting up this club. Rox has moved on from this position and we wish her all the best. All our amazing coaches, DOC Daniel Cagney and Programme Coordinator Matt Shanahan thank you for all your hard work and time volunteered to develop our players. 02.01.2022 Happy Monday to all our South End Community and families. I hope you are all safe and well. On behalf of myself and committee we are excited to see after yesterdays announcements a bit more direction for the coming months ahead, with it only being a framework at least its a start to finding some new normal. During this time we understand it’s been a hard road for all, especially our young little legends who have proven to be very resilient. We are always here to support our community in these testing times and happy to always chat when needed. In relation to news at South End the covid hasn’t stopped progression with our new club. We have some exciting announcements to be made in regards to coaches, teams, sponsors, loyalty program and community work as we get closer to restrictions lifting. Stay spirited Andrew Holles
