20.01.2022 -1st X Ewe Lamb Sale - Thursday 19th Nov- COVID UPDATE Tomorrows Ewe Lamb sale will still go ahead albeit with added restrictions given today's announcements. All buyers and buying agents will allowed access to the yards. They will be required to sign in and wear face masks for the full duration of their time at the yards. Vendors and onlookers unfortunately are unable to attend the sale. ... We realise this is an unfortunate situation however to be able to conduct the sale and adhere to current restrictions, we need to be able to minimise the amount of people present. 18.01.2022 Naracoorte Regional Livestock Exchange SALES NOW OPEN FOR VISITORS Vendors will be welcomed back to weekly sales at the Naracoorte Regional Livestock Exchange from 6 October. People attending will be required to sign in and provide contact details should contact tracing be required. Everyone is asked to bring a face mask and wear this while in the selling area. This will further limit the risk. Separation will be required in the buyers’ race with delineation clearly marked.... The requirement to wear a face mask will be reviewed weekly on advice from the South Australian Governments. Attendance has been restricted to commercial buyers, agents and staff since March when COVID-19 restrictions were introduced by the government. Council has worked with the Naracoorte Combined Agents to ensure the NRLE continued to operate during COVID restrictions by limiting attendance to essential attendees. All sales have continued as scheduled. Cr Scott McLachlan, Chair of the NRLE Board said, The cooperation between Council and agents and the understanding of vendors has been critical to maintaining sales at the Naracoorte Regional Livestock Exchange. 08.01.2022 Naracoorte Regional Livestock Exchange (NRLE) COVID-19 Update 18/11/2020 This update is further to the update previously provided 5/11/2020. Council and the N...aracoorte Combined Agents continue to cooperatively review access arrangements to the NRLE, including a review of information provided by the State Government, including cross-border arrangements. Council has worked with the Naracoorte Combined Agents to ensure the NRLE continues to operate during COVID restrictions, and all sales have continued. All people attending the NRLE will still be required to sign in and provide contact details should contact tracing be required. Although previously relaxed, with the new State Government COVID restrictions & guidelines, everyone attending should wear a face mask due to physical distancing being somewhat difficult within the yards during a sale. Auctioneers and Clerks are exempted from this during the sale process, whilst on the Auctioneers walkway. Physical distancing Everyone must comply with government social distancing restrictions by maintaining 1.5m distance from each other while at the NRLE Everyone should avoid shaking hands Hygiene and cleaning Permitted persons entering the saleyards will do so at the entry point at the north east corner of the cattle yards and wash their hands at the hand washing station. Everyone is encouraged to use hand sanitiser and wash their hands regularly Office buildings, amenities and canteen areas are cleaned regularly pre and post-sale days Canteen/Amenities A maximum of 30 persons may be in the canteen at any one time Takeaway food and drinks available Non-compliance Anyone not complying with these conditions will be asked to leave the site If a person fails to leave when directed, selling may cease and Council staff will contact SA Police Record Keeping Council will maintain records of attendance to each sale for a minimum of 28 days Trevor Smart Chief Executive Officer 18/11/2020
