There is a massive amount of work that goes into the weekend so to have the positive feedback we have received is fabulous! Attached is a photo of all our Sponsors If you are able to, please support these guys! Without these amazing Sponsors none of this could happen. Also thanks to SHAC Electrical who also sponsored the event. ... Of course there is an endless list of people who volunteer thier time to make the weekend run smoothly. We would like to thank every single one of you for helping with checkpoints, road crossings, marking out, sweeping the track, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, cooking and serving food, cleaning up after meals, sweeping floors, driving recovery vehicles, assisting with repairs and of course filling eskies!!! Special thanks to Ang and Ears for your timing expertise, St Johns Ambo girls and guys for your first class care of the few minor injuries we had this year (thankfully). 21.01.2022 At the meeting held tonight it was decided that the SXMCC will not be holding any events this year. This is as disappointing for our club members as it is for all of the wonderful riders and supports who come to our events. In the meantime we will spend the remainder of the year getting some work done around the place and be ready for next year. Thanks to everyone for the continued support.

19.01.2022 Meeting Wednesday night 10th July at 7.00pm to finalise the 100 mile and to finish cleaning up the club rooms.

16.01.2022 Good Evening All, SXMCC, like almost every other sporting club in the Country at the moment has had to make the difficult decision to cancel certain events. The 100 Mile Trial set for July and King and Kid of the Cross set to be held in August have had to cancelled. This has been a difficult time for all of the bike riding community both Enduro and MX. With hard times set to fall on many of us, we cannot expect people to commit time and money to these events. Sponsorship... will be at an all time low and while we know most would come for the ride and escape the city, we just cannot hold these events without sponsors and volunteers. We will meet again in a few months to discuss the 2 Day Enduro set to be held in September. These are very uncertain times and where possible could you all please continue to support our Sponsors through these tough times and look out for one another. Kind Regards SXMCC Committee

16.01.2022 Disappointing to see that people are still trespassing around the clubrooms. Please be aware that cameras have been installed and we will happily provide the footage to police. Stay out or face the consequences!

15.01.2022 Meeting Wednesday 31st July at 7.30 pm.

14.01.2022 Dont forget the meeting tonight at 7:30pm!

14.01.2022 We regret to advise that the annual 2 Day Enduro will not go ahead in 2020 due to the long list of restrictions in relation to COVID 19. We are just as disappointed as everyone else but sadly this year is just not our year! Hopefully we will see everyone next year for a bigger and better year!

14.01.2022 A massive thank you to all that came to the busy bee today. The club rooms are going to look amazing by the time we finish!

11.01.2022 What is Supermoto? you say, Well that’s a very good question Take a high-performance Motocross style machine, fit it with road bike brakes, wheels and sticky tyres. Prep it for ‘track use’ with catch cans, lock wiring, axle and foot peg sliders. Then go hurtling around super twisty bitumen go-kart tracks. Sounds pretty exciting right? Well that’s exactly what it is, so if you’d like to come and see what its all about, read on!... Come and join us as the Supermoto Club of WA goes country! To the Lake King Kart Track on the long weekend of 26 & 27 Sept 2020. Saturday, 26th Sept for a full day of practice. 9am to 4pm. Sunday, 27th Sept for Round 3 of the Winter Series. Action from 8am. Spectators welcome & FREE ENTRY BOTH DAYS. Going to be an awesome weekend so come & check it out! https://fb.me/e/c6JwEFVtt BUT WAIT THERES MORE! Are you interested in having a go at Supermoto?? Riding gear requirements, are a full-face helmet, leather gloves, full leather race suit, Back protector and Boots. But what if I don’t have any? Don’t stress, as SMWA and its members will have several sets of leathers, some boots, as well as a small assortment of leather gloves, back protectors and maybe some helmets for loan. But what is the cost? As a first-time rider with Supermoto WA your total cost is $60 for the practice day. But what about a bike? Some members will happily lend you their bike. (On a you bend it you mend it basis, but they are well protected and generally slide well). If you have any questions or comments, please contact Club Secretary Tess on 0429 801 502 or Club President Steve (after business hours) on 0497 283 488. More information about bike and gear requirements can be found on our website www.supermotowa.com SupermotoWA Facebook Page www.facebook.com/supermotowa SUPERMOTOWA video www.instagram.com/tv/CBxCVqcHps6/

09.01.2022 At a recent meeting the Southern Cross Motorcycle Club made the decision to join the Australian Motorcyclist Association (AMA) as an affiliate member. This move means that we can still operate our Club the way we want but also have the benefit of a National affiliation and as an added bonus, individual insurance for our riders! This will mean that Southern Cross Motorcycle Club will require all riders to be covered by rider insurance with AMA for the year as part of the 2020 ...membership. This is an easy process and ALL riders will need insurance alongside SXMCC membership. This is not difficult & one day/event options are available for non-members and visitors to our track. Joining AMA for the year is a simple process and can be done online $60 single $120 family. This provides cover at all club events and all AMA events. SXMCC will be joining Port Hedland, Broome, Geraldton and Jurien MX clubs who have also joined the AMA family. Please see link below for further information. https://motorcyclist.asn.au/ 2020 Membership forms will be available soon! What an exciting time for our club!! Lets have a great 2020 Season! If you have any queries please contact: President James Panizza: 0427 316 174 or Secretary Lynda Della Bosca: 0429 491 578
