20.01.2022 SFS Pasture Trials Underway 22 perennial grasses are undergoing local trials under the watchful eye of Danny, Sherryn and our newest team member Natasha. The trial was sown in March 2019, and is being monitored monthly to measure growth rates. We are also running a similar trial of 19 varieties of annual grasses and 19 italian grasses, which kicked off in April 2020. Both trials are able to be irrigated, and include new varieties as well as some tried and true staples for our area. Please ask our agronomists about the trial results when planning your Autumn 2021 sowing.

05.01.2022 Busy silage season in the Bega Valley! Heading off now to deliver more pit covers. We now have 18m wide silage pit covers in stock for large pits or above ground stacks. 15m, 12m and 10m pit covers, and bale wrap in plentiful supply as well with a delivery this morning to top up our stocks. Thanks to Bobbin Transport for the excellent prompt service.
