It's the perfect opportunity of showcasing your creative skills and having fun with your friends. 21.01.2022 As we end our 7 days of SFD competitions for 2019 I want to thank everyone who helped to make this event such a great success. Without the help of an incredible team of volunteers and workers, we would not be able to offer this fantastic experience to our dance community. Whether you faced the challenge of your first solo performance or won a prize, every single performer brought something special and unique to the stage. A big thank you goes out to our wonderful adjudicators Dannii Petrovski, Anne Marie Ludwig-Cox, Donna De Paoli and Julie Green. Thanks also to the team at the Whitehorse Centre who looked after us so well and our incredibly generous sponsors.

18.01.2022 To our wonderful Dance Community, It is with great sadness that we have had to make the heart-breaking decision to cancel the 2020 Southern Federation of Dance Competitions. We have held out as long as possible with our decision, but in light of the current Stage 3 Restrictions, due to the COVID 19 Pandemic and with schools and studios closed for Term 2, we had no alternative but to cancel.... Our competitions have always been such a huge highlight of our year and we will miss seeing all of our fantastic performers. However, we will be putting all our energy into planning our 2021 Competitions and hope that you will continue to support us. We ask for your patience as we work through the refund process. In this unprecedented crisis, we must put the safety and well-being of our dance community first. We thank you for your understanding. Stay healthy and keep dancing. 10.01.2022 Congratulations to everyone who performed at the SFD Choreographic Competitions yesterday. The standard was unbelievable this year! It was an outstanding day with so much creative talent on display. We really had a glimpse of the choreographers of the future. Special thanks to Kerrie Power-Drabik for your wonderful adjudication and to our amazing team of helpers. Please put it in your diaries for next year - first Sunday of Term 4 - it's such a friendly and uplifting day
