17.01.2022 Coaching Appointments The Aldinga Football Club is excited to announce the signing of Byron Sumner as playing A grade coach and Tim Sumner for the 2021 se...ason. Byron brings an enormous amount of football knowledge to the club, having had experience at both AFL level, where he played with the Sydney Swans, and SANFL level. Byron played his last SANFL game at Sturt a few weeks ago, and played at the highest level for over 100 senior games in the SANFL. Tim is another exciting addition to the football club for 2021. Also with experience at SANFL and AFL level, Timmy played 17 AFL games for the Gold Coast Suns. Both brothers are outstanding football talents. Together, the Sumner brothers bring an incredible level of football knowledge and playing experience to the football club. Our flourishing younger group have an opportunity to continue to learn modern football methods, and be led by a playing coach and player that have played at the level all young footballers aspire to. 16.01.2022 Ticket sales for the Sunday competition grand finals at Aldinga are currently nearly sold out. When Aldingas CoVid management plan is approved more tickets will be released. Last week both Noarlunga and Port Noarlungas plans were approved on the Friday, so we are still reasonably confident that approval for Aldinga will come through.. This is obviously a very busy time for SA Health.
