21.01.2022 Hello Everyone. Before we begin to open entries to our forthcoming shows we would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that we are not returning back to business as usual. We live in uncertain times and as a result we will need to remind ourselves that we are still in the middle of a pandemic. To ensure that everyone who participates in our shows can do so in a safe and practical way we have introduced the following . SQCHA Covid Plan SQCHA has appointed a Co...vid officer Mrs Rachel Procida. SQCHA will use the current Government Return To Play check list Everyone is required to complete a register of names of all people attending as soon as possible on arrival. If anyone becomes unwell with flu like symptoms you are to stay home. (Entry fees will be refunded in full). If you become unwell with flu like symptoms at the show you will be required to self isolate and leave the ground as soon practical (Entry fees will be refunded in full). NCHA has approved SQCHA to amend Prizemoney payouts and cattle numbers for the event in accordance with the final number of entries. Anyone with current medical conditions that are considered part of the vulnerable groups of our community regarding Covid should not attend our shows. Hand sanitiser (generously donated) will be provided at toilets, near canteen, at mechanical cow and at arena . Cleaning of toilets twice a day. SQCHA has Committee members that have completed Covid training. Social distancing to stay in place particularly at canteen, bar and grandstand areas. We encourage people to bring their own portable chairs to the arena, please be aware that in some instances self catering may be a requirement for one or more of our shows. Covid compliance signs will be erected at the grounds and we implore all participants to adhere to these at all times. We appreciate that some people may feel that these measures are not necessary. However, for the safety of our local volunteers, cattle suppliers and participants we request that everyone embrace SQCHA Covid measures as considerable effort has gone into meeting the concerns of the venue committee and volunteers, without their approval there are no SQCHA shows to attend. The SQCHA and NCHA considers the COVID 19 outbreak a serious health threat to the community. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. SQCHA Comittee.

You will then be issued a wristband and will be required to wear that wristband whilst on the grounds. Please adhere to social distancing requirements and utilise the hand sanitiser that will be available around the venue.... You are reminded that anyone seen to breach the COVID-19 requirements could be the recipient of the on the spot fines that are currently being enforced by the Qld government.

12.01.2022 Hi everyone In refernece to the attached map of Injune Showgrounds, there will be a limited supply of water and power onsite. Although the committee have brought in extras to help resolve this it is strongly recommended that if you have your own generator to please bring it. Upon entering the showgrounds there is a parking padwhere there is ample power and water supplied. We request as mony people to use this area as possible whilst keeping 15 ft apart from each gooseneck as ...required under our COVID plan. If camping in this area you will need to keep your horses outside this area. If your preference is to camp outside this area then please pack your generator. There will be no catering on offer, but a coffee van will be there from Friday. There will be no grandstand but there is a large mounded area for spectators to watch. Due to its ample size social distancing is a must. Bring your own chair or blanket if you wish but we cannot emphasise enough the importance of social distancing and hand hygene in these times. Hand saniters will be dispersed around the grounds, please use them.
