24.01.2022 QUICK PRO TIP!!!!!!! I've noticed a lot of technicians struggling with the concept of "Dual-End-Of-Line" resistors. Especially when it comes to Reed switches and Door Status Sensors on electronic locks. They either don't know how to do them or are unable to make the join neat and compact enough so that the cable can be pushed back into a small hole. This is an example of how I make my "Dual-End-Of-Line" resistors. It is compact and effective so that you can use heat shrink or tape tightly so that it isn't a bulky mess.

13.01.2022 Yesterday morning Footscray Police attended an address in Maidstone after receiving a call from a local resident. The resident had told Triple 0 that a male off...ender had entered the house behind them by smashing the glass back door. Footscray Police members searched the area for an offender and caught him red handed, pushing a wheelie bin full of the victims belongings down the street! The offender has been charged by Police and remanded into custody. 10.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder to anyone out there with an Access Control System of any type, make sure you have measures in place for regular routine Data Base Backups. There is nothing worse than having a piece of hardware fail and you loose hundreds of user info like access cards and pin codes.

09.01.2022 WARNING!!!!!!!! A lot of security systems these days are being hacking into. The main reason for this is that people are failing to change their default "User Names" and "Passwords". This apples not only to the recorder itself but for IP Cameras too. A good security company should make their customers aware of this right out of the box and should set it all up appropriately. IP Cameras are essentially mini computers and because they are on your network and your recorder is more than often online for remote viewing, this makes them very susceptible to online attacks. Once these hackers are in they not only can see your camera images but it a pathway to other devices and info on your network. So please people update your login details and make yourself safe.
