25.01.2022 Pricelist for 2021 $65 for a private lesson on my horse/pony $60 for a private lesson on your own horse $70 for a private lesson at your place within reasonable distance $45 for a shared lesson... We have acquired a few new ponies over the holidays to allow for a growing number of riders. I want to give you the experience of what it would be like to ride your own horse, rather then sitting on a horse that already knows what to do. You can be assured that all our horses get the best of care, regular farrier, dentist and saddlefit visits. They spend most of their time in herds in big paddocks and all have a wardrobe of rugs so they are always comfortable. And of course lots of cuddles and carrots

22.01.2022 I would like to introduce another visitor to our herd: Keira. She has settled in well and had her first ride today and was perfect behaved. Keira is an old hand at being a riding horse, super sweet and a great size for both kids and adults.

21.01.2022 Jehi and Ava welcomed Penelope to our horsey family today. Apart from being a stunning palomino she has had extensive training with a great teenage rider. And she is super sweet!!!

18.01.2022 We had a fantastic 3 days with Sarah Venamore. Sarah worked a lot on bending around the inside leg and using your seat to determine the pace. The results were amazing, some tired horses and riders tonight i imagine.

16.01.2022 Our 2020 Gymkhana and Christmas party will be held on the 6th of December. It all kicks off at 10am. All riders are welcome to join in, there will be lots of games and some fun competitions! Cost is $45 per rider (includes lunch). Please send me a message if you want to attend.

With many years of experience I have been teaching horse riding through understanding of the horse and following Andrew McLean's principles of horse training. We have an outdoor dressage arena, jump paddock, cross country course and 1000acres of bush to ride in. 12.01.2022 This is so true. In my 44 years of riding horses I have gone from very classical training in the Netherlands to wanting more from my relationship with horses and practicing 'horsemanship'. Starting of with following Pat Parelli and acquiring my level 2 in his teaching and as so many of us, built a roundyard and tried Monty Roberts' join up. Now I like the more scientific approach that Equitation Science has to offer. I am always keeping up with new developments and love listening to other instructors teach. There are always so many new angles to explore!

09.01.2022 Sarah Venamore clinic - 6th and 7th of Oct. For those of you that dont know Sarah, she is an Ea level 2 instructor and coach educator with many years of experience. Sarah was giving lessons here in July and all riders want to come back so best to book in quick. If we get a lot of interest we can do lessons on Thursday as well. 09.01.2022 Before i leave 2020 i want to say a big thank you to my gorgeous girls Tess Shepherd and Ruby Shepherd. They are always ready to lend a hand when needed, i dont know what i would do without without them x

06.01.2022 Looks like horse riding is on the rise, being a relative covid safe activity that is outdoors with small numbers. We are getting a high number of inquiries and now have to put new riders on a waiting list. This is why we might have to look into introducing some sort of cancellation fee for the weekends in the near future. Please don't leave cancelling your lesson till the last minute so we can make somebody else happy with a ride!

06.01.2022 EOI for a clinic/lessons with Sarah Venamore in the second week of the school holidays. With these uncertain times I am not sure how much to organize in advance anymore but just wondering if people are interested in a cross country clinic or lessons, overnight stay for the children yes/no?

04.01.2022 We want to wish everyone a very happy New Year. It has been said a few times what a disappointing year it has been but i would like to focus on the good times with the photos below. We had lots of new riders joining the club and new ponies joining our herd. 2021 is going to hit the ground running with some great camps and lots of fun riding ahead. Lessons will start again on the 4th of January and we look forward to seeing everyone again in the new year!

03.01.2022 Jehi had the first ride on our new pony Penelope. They went great, she goes in a nice frame and is nice and forward which is just what we need for the more experienced riders

02.01.2022 It looks like tomorrow lessons are going to be a write off. Our competition on Sunday got cancelled so if the weather improves and we don't get a ridiculous amount of rain/snow, we might be able to postpone some lessons to Sunday if interested. Otherwise we will hopefully see you next weekend.
