24.01.2022 Back from the wilderness?! Or lost in space?! Not really. Just missing in action. Apologies for not engaging sooner. Kitchen renovations and other pre Christmas chores have been a necessary distraction. I hope your fishing season has been going well.... or a least better than mine! The STLAA wishes all anglers a safe, merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

23.01.2022 Hi members, just back from a memorable trip fishing the Gordon River. The fish were fickle- as they often are. More farm escapees caught than brown trout. Noticed an email from Australian Polish Anglers Club Re the Inter-Club Challenge on my return. See photos below. My apologies for the rough version. My editing skills are basic.

17.01.2022 Congratulations go to the Aus. Polish Anglers Club for recently hosting the STLAA Inter Club Challenge at Woods Lake. We all had a great day. The weather dished up a bit of everything. Morning snow to a beautiful sunny afternoon. Thankfully the winds stayed light and while the fish didn’t jump into the boat all day plenty were presented at the 5pm weigh in. Forty one members from seven clubs accounted for One hundred and twenty six brown trout. Most fish caught were in the 35-45cm range while the winning teams presented several fish over 53cm. Well done and thank you Boof, Tracey and the rest of the Aus/Pol crew.
