24.01.2022 SUMMER FESTIVAL RETURNS The Southern Cricket Summer Festival is back for 2021, with four weeks running in January. The program combines technical coaching with games and challenges to help young cricketers improve in a fun environment. The Summer Festival is perfect for passionate young cricketers looking to take their game to the next level!

23.01.2022 We will be at the Perth Scorchers PlayCricket Carnival with BatFast this Sunday!!! The PlayCricket Carnival gives young cricketers the opportunity to meet their favourite Scorchers players, learn some new skills, and have some fun at the WACA! 22.01.2022 STAR PERFORMERS Season 2020/21 has kicked off and there were some standout performances on Saturday. Shayne Wornes hit an unbeaten 63 runs for Willetton off the back of coaching at the Spring Festival on Wednesday.... New Willetton captain Aaron Hardie made 44, combining with Shayne to guide the Dragons to a win over Bayswater-Morley Ryan Fox scored 39 for Fremantle in their win over Scarborough in 2nd grade. Zach Ferris took 2/12 wickets for Freo's A-grade side. Zach has put in the hard yards over winter, running 6kms and spending an hour and a half in the gym EVERYDAY to make sure he fit and strong for pre-season! And a special shout out to former Willetton and Aquinas fast bowler Simon Mackin for receiving a call up to the Victoria squad for the upcoming Sheffield Shield season! A big congratulations to all of these guys! Throughout the season we will be highlighting standout performances of Southern Cricketers, so let us know if you or someone you know has had a match to remember for a chance to be featured!!

The Girls Cricket Academy kicks-off on the 8th of August and runs on Saturday afternoons from 2pm, with a focus on helping girls of all ages and skill levels develop their skills in a fun environment. ... - Academy sessions cost $15 per week but you can come to your first visit for free! - 1-to-1 Coaching costs $60 per hour, but you can get a $25 initial assessment on your first visit. 15.01.2022 STAR PERFORMERS There were some great performances over the weekend as T20s and Colts kicked off. Ryan Fox top scored for Fremantle 2nd Grade with 67 off 134 against Perth.... Dan Newman starred for Fremantle U15s, taking 4/32 against Perth Robbie Holmes and Kaiden Cookson both took 3fa in Fremantle Colts’ win over Melville Oli Arkinstall showcased his big hitting with 44 off 25 in Willetton Colt’s win over Country XI. Oli famously broke the record for highest junior score when he made 272* off 170, so its great to see him recapture some of that form. Aaron Hardie emerged from quarantine to take 3/17 in Willetton’s Premier T20 win over Country XI. Tom Murray made 45 off 84 for South Perth U15s against Subiaco-Floreat. Ash King smashed an unbeaten 30 off 28 in Melville A-Grade’s win over South Perth. Great work to everyone! Cam Bancroft came out of the Sheffield Shield bubble to hit 72 off 100 for Willetton 1st Grade.... Iszak Milentis opened the batting and made a solid 58 off 205 for Willetton 1st Grade. Kristian Morisey made 79 off 164 in Willetton’s 2nd Grade win over Claremont-Nedlands. Keegan Davies smashed fifteen boundaries on his way to 91 off 74 deliveries for Fremantle U15s. Nick Blazevich took 4/25 off 3.4 overs and Oli Arkinstall made an unbeaten 57 off 36 in Willetton Colt’s win over Perth. Aaron Hardie top scored for Willetton with 65 off 53 in their one run win over Perth in the Premier T20s. Shannon Lee made an outstanding 49 not out for Melville U13s in their scratch match against Joondalup. Great work everyone! Tom Murray continued his superb start to the season with an unbeaten innings of 114 for South Perth U15s against Bayswater-Morley... Keegan Davies smashed 17 boundaries on his way to 123 for Fremantle U15s vs Rockingham-Mandurah Korey Sweetman made 101 off 89 in Fremantle U13s win over Willetton Sean Boers made 82 off 138 to help Aquinas 1st XI to their first win of the season vs Christ Church Zac Hill hit 111 in Willetons 4th Grade win over Joondalup Andrew Morisey took 5/25 for Aquinas 2nd XI vs Christ Church Matt Russo made 54 off 59 in South Perth 2nd Grade's win over Bayswater-Morley Evelyn Hall took her second 3fa of the season, with 3/6 off 4 overs. Evelyn has been playing against boys for Baldivis U12s, and her awesome out-swingers have clearly been causing them problems! Great work everyone! Tom Murray took 4/30 off 9 overs and got a run out for South Perth U15s Callum Kay made 40 off 59 on his 2nd Grade debut for Fremantle Jack Chapman hit an unbeaten 65 off 94 for Willetton U17s Solomon Ashe blasted 49 off 64 for Fremantle U15s Max Rodwell made 39 off 54 for Bicton U14s against Kardinya Luke Samuels scored an unbeaten 38 off 74 for South Perth U17s Jason Davey took 2/2 off two overs and scored an unbeaten 22 off 36 for Jandakot, placing him at the top of the SWMJCC U13s Leaderboard! 08.01.2022 Star Performers It was great to see some superb performances from those able to take to the field, as poor weather saw many matches washed out over the weekend. Lachie Pratt took 4/20 from eight overs for Perth’s 1st Grade side. Lachie blazed through Scarborough’s batting line-up as they ended the day on 5/76.... Naethan Maxino Dayan starred for Bedford U10s, taking 4/13 off 3 overs against Mt Lawley Inglewood. Matt Russo blasted 35 runs off 46 deliveries for South Perth’s 2nd Grade side against Willetton. Girls Academy Coaches Ash King and Lara Maritz starred in Melville’s win over Midland-Guildford in A-Grade. Ash top scored with 34 runs off 39 balls, while Lara made an unbeaten 24 off 29 deliveries Great work from everyone, and hopefully the sun is out so everyone has a chance to play next round! 07.01.2022 There were some awesome performances over the weekend from Southern Cricketers as we head into the Christmas break. Keegan Davies teed off for Fremantle Under 15s, making 109 off 92 deliveries against South Perth. Shane Wornes made 90 off 150 for Willetton 1st Grade as they defeated Perth.... Matt Russo took 4/58 off 23 overs for South Perth 2nd Grade against Fremantle. Leon Coombs took 4/58 off 15 for Rockingham-Mandurah 2nd Grade in their win over Melville Seb Woods decimated Whitfords, taking 4/14 off 7 overs for Applecross 2nd XI. And a special shoutout to Cam Rycroft for hitting his first ever boundary! Great work everyone. Over 3 days players will have the chance to develop your technical skills with our coaches and put them to the test in a series of games and challenges. The program has been designed for players aged 6-16, with courses running from 10am to 4pm each day. Week One: Tues 5th Jan - Thurs 7th Jan Week Two: Tues 12th Jan - Thurs 14th Jan Week Three: Tues 19th Jan - Thurs 21st Jan... Week Four: Wed 27th Jan - Fri 29th Jan The program is $300 for three days, and if you bring a mate along they come free! Sean Boers blasted 101 off 140 balls for Willetton U17s in an action packed innings that included 12 boundaries!... Iszak Milentis notched up an impressive 60 for Willetton's 1st grade side as they lost to Midland-Guildford. Alex Xiao took 5 for 39 off 10 overs in Fremantle's 2nd grade win over Uni. Rhett Grinceri knocked over Bayswater-Morley's top order, taking 3 for 37 off 10 overs in Gosnells U17s' win. Jagan Singh took 3 for 18 off 6 overs for Willetton U15s. Coach Ash King made 30 for Melville in their Women's A grade win over South Perth. A big congratulations to everyone! 02.01.2022 STAR PERFORMERS There were some great performances from Southern Cricketers over the weekend! Perth U17s captain Tyler Mouritz blasted his way to 79no off 75 balls against Mount Lawley... Tom Murray made 60 of 93 to help guide South Perth U15s to a total of 190. Kristian Morisey smashed 126no off 127 deliveries in Willetton's 3rd Grade win over Rockingham-Mandurah Oli Arkinstall and Nick Blazevich were standouts as Willetton and Rockingham-Mandurah's 1st Grade clash ended in a tie. Oli was Willetton's top scorer with 52 off 54, while Nick took 4fa to end the round as the leading wicket taker in 1st Grade! A big congratulations to everyone!
