22.01.2022 So I took this photograph back in 2016, from the North rim of the Grand Canyon... Later on I got some more from the South rim. The next morning I drove down to Tucson, Arizona to have a night of viewing through the 32inch telescope at the Mt Lemmon Sky center! Living in the Southern hemisphere, this view of the milky-way is not what I would usually be photographing... it's something different. The image is quite noisy due to limiting my exposure time to 10 seconds per panel w...ithout a tracking mount. Sony a7s, 10sec, ISO 10000 Sigma 35mm f1.4 Art @ f1.4 Prints available, thank you for looking!

18.01.2022 A touch of fog... with the moon at Lower kalgan bridge one winters night.

05.01.2022 My latest image, is at The Gap in the Torndirrup NP Albany WA. The night sky is anything but black! Such beautiful airglow of red, green and orange. The Summer milkyway is starting to rise, the Small and Large Magellanic cloud galaxies are in view and the Southern Cross is just coming into view above the distant rocks... This was processed using luminance layering from the RGB data. It's a panorama with each panel being a stack of 5 x 30 second tracked exposures, using a full spectrum modified Sony a7s, HEUIB-ll filter and a Sigma Art 20mm lens. I hope you will enjoy the view, full resolution prints are available.

01.01.2022 The core of the Milkyway sets over Montgomery Hill Vineyard on the Kalgan River. A commission job I was asked to do, thankyou Phil Shilcock. It was a bit of a challenge dealing with the light dome of Albany in the background. Tracked Panorama with a Modified Sony a7s, Sigma 50 & 20mm Art f1.4 lens
