22.01.2022 In support of Australia's White Ribbon campaign to end violence against women, we'd like to introduce Clara Franklin, a Southern Cross Care (Vic) home care client since 2016. Since retiring at age 73, Clara has written and published four books. An amazing achievement considering English is her fourth language. Her most recent book entitled, Story of One but Many was released this year. This is a poignant story about the lives of three woman living through family violence. We can't wait to read it Clara

07.01.2022 Meet France Henke, a Southern Cross Care (Vic) home care client since 2011. Frances has spent the past seven decades mastering valuable life skills to manage the effects of polio. Last year, Frances wrote Life Skills for Polios: a lighthearted handbook, which went on to become a Random Harvest e-library bestseller in several countries. Besides writing books and educating the community about polio, Frances is an avid photographer, artist, sculptor and gardener.
