We may not be able to gather together today to undertake the White Ribbon Walk but we should gather on social media to send the most powerful message possible. Domestic Violence is NOT okay. We need to work towards the White Ribbon Vision:... A nation where every woman is free from all forms of men's violence and abuse. #standupspeakout

07.01.2022 WHITE RIBBON DAY 2020 Today is White Ribbon Day, an annual day to raise awareness, and work towards the prevention, of family violence. Residents enjoying our ...fantastic riverfront would have noticed a couple of new additions near the Langtree Connection steps, with our Parks and Gardens team adding these White Ribbons to mark the day. Over the past few days, we have also featured video interviews with community leaders leading the fight against family violence. Our final interview will be shown later today right here on our Facebook page. We can all play our part to end family violence. We encourage our community to continue to be leaders for change.
