24.01.2022 Just a reminder to all samford tennis club members that tomorrow is the club championship finals day. Matches start from 8am and will go through until around 3pm with a free BBQ from 10am. All members are welcome down the club to watch some amazing tennis. The open finals events will be on from around 10am-1pm. Grab the family and come on down to celebrate all the talent we have in this wonderful community.

16.01.2022 Winner winner chicken dinner!!! Massive congratulations to our amazing green ball players who represented Southern Cross Tennis in this year's Saturday Super League Green Ball competition. We had 3 of the 4 finalists and 2 teams taking out the championship!... 10.01.2022 A big congratulations to our kelvin grove teams who competed at the state champs in rockhampton over the last 3 days. The boys finished third agonizingly short of the eventual winners losing by just 3 games. Our girls once again won the title for the fifth straight year in emphatic style and lived up to their national champions title. Fingers crossed the nationals go ahead for our champion girls team. Some very proud coaches here at the club!

06.01.2022 Last Sunday saw some of our young budding superstars compete in the Samford State School and Eatons Hill School Championships. In tricky windy conditions great tennis was played by all including a green ball final that will go down in Samford history. Amelia L just defeating Emily P, 4-6 7-6(8-6) 16-14 in a super tiebreak.... 04.01.2022 A wonderful day had by all at our Samford Tennis Club and Samford Bowls club fun day. Parents took to the courts and the bowling greens with their kids to have a great day of sport and social fun. Thanks to all involved who helped out on the day and those that came along and made the day fantastic. Hope to see you all next Sunday at the Christmas Party.

02.01.2022 What a way to wrap up 2020 with our annual club Christmas party held by The Samford Tennis Club! The event itself saw over 300 people in attendance with all the fast hitting action you'd expect on the court. This is our biggest Christmas party to date and we can't wait to put it on again next year. We had our club members trying to out rally the ball machine, then trying to out hit the speed serve (191km/hr was the fastest), all tennis games you can think of, jumping castle, ...BBQ and even a visit from Tennis Santa with some presents for the kids. It seems everyone in attendance had a great time with many families commenting on the amazing BBQ from our committee chefs. We would like to thank you all for a wonderful year here with us. Although there were ups and downs with covid, it was great to see everyone out and about with passion for the game. A big thank you to our committee and coaches who worked together tirelessly to make the day a wonderful success. A special mention must go out to our committee Vice President Keith Daly whom without this day would not have been possible. Keith would have spent over 100 hours at the club in the past month preparing for this event and his hard work often goes largely unnoticed, so on behalf of everyone, thank you Keith and we appreciate all your hard work. We look forward to seeing you all in 2021 at our famous annual Open day Sunday 31 January 9am-12noon. See more
