12.01.2022 Team SCT (yes including Amanda ) are riding the 82km Sydney to Gong VERY soon to raise funds for MS. We have now chosen to do this in honour of one of our recent customers suffering from this debilitating disease. The gorgeous Sharlene was on her way to fulfill her camping dreams solo. The day before her first weekend away this happened... "Hi Amanda, sadly I didnt make my trip. I was throwing a tie-down and something went Pop and I collapsed on the ground. I was able to cra...wl pull myself inside and lower my electric bed and crawl onto it before I lost all feeling in my legs. I gave in and called an ambulance. I was transported to our local hospital and then later transferred to Nepean for neuro. I have a compound fracture in the T 11 and a fracture in the l4. Sadly not much can be done so no surgery. Ive been transported back to Lithgow Hospital for rehab and to hopefully walk again with lots of determination. I will get camping as thats what is going to be my aim and keep me focused. My beautiful trailer has been put in the shed out of the weather and my aim is to eventually get home to it." We would love for anyone who can spare any amount to help us reach our goal.
