25.01.2022 Please see an update from Basketball SA. Unfortunately this will include SDJBL Summer Grand Finals. I am working behind the scenes for when we do return we will resume quickly with a possible modification of Winter season that may finish towwards the end of the year. Lets hope we see the end of Covid-19 sooner rather than later. Please take care and i hope to see you all on the court in the near future. Thanks
24.01.2022 What a great weekend of basketball for those teams that played in the SDJBL Grand Finals. Congratulations to all Players, Parents and Coaches for some quality games and most importantly the spirit that they were played in. The league is alive and well. I have posted some pics form the weekend but if you have any please send them through. Keep an eye on our page for updates about Summer Season that kicks off on Saturday 26th of October. Enjoy the break!
24.01.2022 Hi Everyone, 2 days before games start again so just posting some information to answer a few questions that I have had. All stadiums now that the government has release restrictions to Stage 3, can now have 50 people per court in most venues that we are playing in using the 1 person per 2 sqm rule.... All players and spectators must sanitise their hand both on entry and exit when entering the stadium. No High 5 or handshakes Players must wipe their basketballs when entering the stadium. Can all teams please not arrive more than 10 minutes before their start time, but once you do arrive you may enter the stadium and wait until the game before you finishes. Once your game is finished please leave the venue as soon as possible. A reminder that the team fee is $60 and is paid by card by your team manager as we are cashless on game day. Please make sure your payment to give to your team manager is ready when you arrive. I hope everyone has great game this week and I like everyone else, looks forward to basketball resuming after nearly 14 weeks. Thanks

22.01.2022 Well done to Tims South Adelaide Domestic team that travelled to Eltham this weekend to play in the biggest junior basketball tournament in the world. 1452 teams this year.

21.01.2022 RETURN TO BASKETBALL UPDATE | Earlier today the state government announced new restrictions to be introduced in SA. Currently there is no change to basketball. We will as always continue to provide updates should this change under advice from the state government.

18.01.2022 Last minor rounds of games this weekend on BOTH Saturday and Sunday then we head into finals. I will have the final games up Sunday evening for the following weeks, A reminder we will have Semi Finals for top 4, 1v4 and 2v3 as well as 5 v 6 play-off games. Grand Finals on November 14th at Marion and Westminster Stadiums. A reminder Summer 2021 season grading games start Saturday afternoon 28th November. 15.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Please forward this information to your coaches/families in your teams/associations. I have just released Round 3 and 4 fixtures and will update the rest this time next week. Please check as there has been changes https://websites.sportstg.com/assoc_page.cgi ... There have been several changes due to new teams joining the competition and movement of some teams between grades. Please check as some grades now do not have byes or a couple of grades now do have byes. We will be moving to electronic scoring from this week. IPads will be on each bench on all courts. This system will be a lot easier and remove paperwork and scoring errors. A reminder that if players are not registered on the stadium scoring tablet, they will not be able to play/enter game. There has been more than ample time to have player registered so this on game day players are locked out and cant be entered on the day. 15.01.2022 Hi All, Please some important information for finals over the next 2 weeks Semi Finals and play-off for 5th fixture finals are now updated. Please pass onto your teams. Ladders have not been adjusted manually but the games are correct. 1 v 4 and 2 v 3 with winners going to Grand Finals the following week. https://websites.sportstg.com/assoc_page.cgi ... Player qualification for finals is 5 MINOR ROUND games. Play-off for 5th this is not applicable for these games. 14.01.2022 Hi All, I was recently informed of events that affected the SDJBL Fixtures. Both Premier League games and Country Champs has created the need to move games to other venues as well as Morphett Vale games that were scheduled to be played on the 21st March at Morphett Vale have been moved to SUNDAY 22nd March at Westminster School. As this was the last round before finals we had no choice to move the games to SUNDAY or other times. Please check your fixtures and communicate t...o all members of your team. Thanks
13.01.2022 Hi Everyone, All fixtures have been uploaded for the rest of the Summer 2020 season including initial finals fixtures which will be updated a little closer to finals. There has also been some movement of couple of grades so please check over the break. I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. 13.01.2022 ALL SDJBL DOMESTIC GAMES CANCELLED SATURDAY 14th MARCH in line with Basketball SAs decision to suspend District games. We will keep you updated (via your coaches) early next week with regard to any developments.
13.01.2022 Hi Everyone. Some important updates for tomorrows domestic games. 1. As of tomorrow courtside scoring begins..so no scoresheets anymore. Very easy to use and will help any parents who have issues with using the IPAD. 2. We will be enforcing the 1 spectator per player rule at ALL stadiums until further notice. Children Under the age of 16 attached to that parent, ie siblings will be allowed in, but no extra adults. Please follow these guidelines. There will be zero tolerance for people that ignore these requests. ****Coaches are not included in spectator numbers**** Thanks and good luck to all teams this weekend. 11.01.2022 Hi Everyone. Just an update for fixtures now that the minor rounds are complete. We will have next weekend Semi Final fixtures out by Monday evening and this will also include Grand Final times. Semi Finals will run at Morphett Vale and Marion with the format of 1 v 4 and 2 v 3, winners advancing to the Grand Finals. We will make sure all ladders are double checked as there are some errors that need fixing but please note if you do tie with a team on points the head to head result between those teams tied determine who goes ahead. 07.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Hope everyone has enjoyed the break. Fixtures will be out tomorrow afternoon and will uploaded to the SDJBL Home page http://websites.sportstg.com/assoc_page.cgi Week 1 and 2 will be grading phases which will finalise pools in all grades. Once grading is done i will upload the full fixture to Sports TG so families can plan ahead. We continue to grow and have record number of teams of 102. The link attached also gives families the dates of the Summer season.... We look forward to a successful Summer 2019/20 season.

Please note due to Covid-19 we have extended the season to finish in early November. https://websites.sportstg.com/assoc_page.cgi After this Saturday we will break for the rest of the school holidays then resume week 1, Term 3, with games starting again on Saturday 25th July. All fixtures will be uploaded to S...ports TG for the rest of the season so you will be able to plan your life :) Scoresheets will be used this Saturday which will need to be filled out by the team manager. At the same time the $60 team fee will need to be paid to the court supervisor, by card as we run cashless on game days. If parents can please have their game day payment of $8 -$10 ready to pay to team manager it would be appreciated by all involved. Only 4 days to go before we start Basketball games again, and what a wait it has been! 02.01.2022 Hi Everyone. Fixtures are now live for this week at http://websites.sportstg.com/assoc_page.cgi . The first 2 weeks were grading so these games do not count towards the Summer season. Apologies to the few teams that may be playing another team recently played as when fixtures are generated I have no control of these games. ... All teams must have all players registered through Sports TG as if this is not done by now players will not be able to play until they do this. I will have the rest of the fixtures up to Christmas uploaded by Thursday evening so families can plan their time.
