25.01.2022 Many horse owners religiously research every aspect of their hard feed regime . But have you factored in the effects your hay and pasture can have on your horses nutritional balance and behaviour ?

23.01.2022 This is a timely reminder that it is important to know what plants are present in and around your horse paddocks. There have been a few cases similar to this linked to Marshmallow (Malva Parviflora) previously in the south west. If you would like to know how to managing the weed burden in your paddocks or identify a plant you are unsure of don't be afraid to send us a message.

11.01.2022 http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au//Effect-of-heating-on-feed-value Well, its getting to that time of year again ! When we all start making preparations for either buying or making our own hay. Over the coming weeks we will be sharing what we think are important pieces of information relating to this hugely important, but often overlooked process.... THE HEATING OF HAY The heating of hay is not only a huge risk in terms of a potential fire, but it can also greatly reduce the nutrient value of your forage over time. This fact sheet from the NSW DPI is a timely reminder that care should be taken when storing your hay. It is particularly relevant to those of us who bale their own and those who buy from a farmer " behind the baler " straight out of the paddock.

09.01.2022 Not long to go now ! If you have any burning questions your dying to ask, feel free to jot them down and bring them in on the night .

04.01.2022 Hi everyone , well we are finally at the end of those long hot summer months, and what a dry year it has been !. Hopefully you all got plenty of riding in with all the extra daylight hours. We apologize for our absence on Facebook of late but we have been busily working away at some very exciting new projects . We are currently in the final stages of having a fantastic toxin binder product available for sale . GrazeSafe is a dry ,powdered additive which is highly effective ...in binding and inactivating a range of mycotoxins found in feed, grain and plant material. Not only does GrazeSafe find and help the body eliminate harmful toxins it also contains plant extracts & Vitamins to help support the body during this process. We are hoping to have GrazeSafe available by the end of March, just in time for the beginnings of Autumn, pasture growth and the problems associated with this time of year. Initially we will have a limited amount of GrazeSafe available from the first shipment, so we urge you to get in contact with us to guarantee you don't miss out. GrazeSafe will be a highly affordable product and at a standard maintenance dose, 1kg can last an average horse up to 200 days . Please leave us a comment, a private message or drop us an email at [email protected] to express your interest and be sure to get your hands on this great new product.
