A bit of history, we bought our first outdoor festoon lights from a big hardware chain for half this price, they were low voltage and for outdoor use .... they filled up with water and were unusable after just a few weeks. The other problem was the wires came loose because the cabling was so "light weight". So don't settle for poor qualit...y lighting that in our experience will need to be replaced. So we went searching for the best value festoon lights which you could change the globes if thats what you want... and we found these..... they can be used with the standard globes that come with them ......
