21.01.2022 A message from the club Secretary: Hi all, A reminder that tomorrow's the AGM. Hope you can make it.... If not, you are welcome to send in an email or text to me for your proxy vote if any issue needs voting on. Register in by 9:30 am. AGM starts at 10:00 am. FREE Sausage Sizzle & a FREE shoot for those that attend. Ranges & practice butts are closed until the AGM has finished. Approximately 11:30 am. Cheers Darren

21.01.2022 Update: Just got the all clear to open. New Direction Details... Emergency Management (COVID-19) (Public Activities No 14) Direction 2020. It comes into effect at time 12:01 am on 1 December 2020. Fitness, recreation activities and sport can resume. We need to observe these numbers in these areas. 12.01.2022 Hi all. The road to the club will be getting done this week. This will mean there will not be access to the club from Tuesday to Thursday, and possibly Friday if needed.

11.01.2022 COVID 19 Update: Hi all, The executive committee have looked at the current exemptions regarding golf courses etc & we have decided to re-open the ranges.... PLEASE NOTE: The clubhouse will NOT be open. This includes canteen & toilet facilities, no hire eqipment available either. The new rules are: No congregating before or after a shoot. Only 2 people per target. Larger groups, split into 2's & shoot progressively around the course. Have a quick warm up, go & enjoy a round, then head off ASAP. Keep 1.5m apart at all times. Can we ask that members who have keys & are available during the week, please shoot from Monday to Saturday. Close & lock the gate on Majors Rd behind you. Please bring a pen & sign in as usual. If you have shot during the week, please don't attend Sunday. This mimimises the numbers on Sunday for the other members without keys. No probationers allowed, unfortunately. Sunday will be open from 9:00am until 1:00pm. Gates will be closed at 12:00pm. Shoot fees will not be charged until further notice. Of course if you feel at all unwell, please stay home. 07.01.2022 Dear members, Effective immediately SFA will be taking no new members. All new memberships will be closed until further notice. This includes both new inquiries and non financial renewals if previous members. ... For the immediate future, visitors will also NOT be allowed at the club, including both club days & competition shoots. This is due to COVID restrictions and a lack of infrastructure with large numbers attending. Until further notice, consider it members only. Regards, SFA Committee.

05.01.2022 !!! ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION !!! Hi all, Unfortunately the close down of non-essential business and social gatherings has been updated & now includes us:... From the Commissioner of Police SA. "The following are required to remain closed to the public until further notice: buildings used by social and sporting clubs. outdoor spaces associated with the above venues." https://www.police.sa.gov.au//commissioner-stevens-issues- This means as of midnight tonight (Tuesday 24th of March 2020), the club is completely closed. This includes all ranges & practice butts as well. NO ENTRY. NO EXCEPTIONS!! This is serious enough to us to enforce that anyone found in breach of this request will have their membership terminated. If you have a need to access the clubhouse to retrieve any personal belongings, please contact myself or Phil directly.
