23.01.2022 Brewery news! Our Cameron James and renowned brewer Lachie McBean from Grain Fed Brewery have teamed up to create a refreshing New Zealand Pilsener for the upcoming warmer months, and in celebration of our travel bubble with our mates from Over the Ditch This is being canned this week, and will be available in the Taphouse in Cans and Draught this weekend.

17.01.2022 More Gold for Southern Highlands Brewing! In last night’s Independent Brewer Association awards (The Indies) The Goodfather Porter won a Gold Medal in the Porter-Stout category. This Australian industry recognition is on the back of a Gold Medal in London for this favourite! Pouring today at the Taphouse.

12.01.2022 Their love of life's finer things (rugby and beer) bonded Ben and Cam four years ago, so they founded @taphouse_shbrewing together. Ben and Cam managed to keep... their doors right through the pandemic, and also adapted the business to providing takeaway for local customers. While it was a bit of a challenge to implement, Ben says they were actually overwhelmed by all the local support for the takeaway. The Taphouse has gained a whole new clientele as a result of their takeaway business. It's great to find a silver lining in these hard times. The Taphouse is deeply ingrained in their community, employing twenty locals and also providing sponsorship to the rugby club that brought them together, the mighty @bowralblacks. The guys are huge fans of their local community, so none of this support is going anywhere soon. Ben and Cam reckon that Sydneysiders are making the most of being able to travel wherever they can, and that means they’re ending up down in the Southern Highlands in the Taphouse a fair bit. #golocalfirst and check out @taphouse_shbrewing on your next trip to the Highlands!
