25.01.2022 I have absolute no words!

24.01.2022 When seeking an inspector, are you basing your choice on price or qualifications and experience?

22.01.2022 This is another classic example of why thermal imaging is the most over sold tool for termite inspections. This house had a recent report stating " no termite damage or activity located" When your reports have thermal imaging pictures, yes they look good but will not show pre existing damage and rarely show currant activity!

21.01.2022 Never rely on a supplied or existing report! This property has active termites ( copotermes ) and pre existing damage to the dwelling with multiple potential entry points.

19.01.2022 Someone will have some questions to answer for this on! Picture taken from another site.

17.01.2022 Simply spectacular home for this client

13.01.2022 Did you know that under the state government’s new increased density rules, unit development can be approved by private certifiers, with no requirement for submission to council or for a public notification process where residents can object?

11.01.2022 A truly spectacular property at Berrima NSW #prepurchasebuildingandpestinspection

09.01.2022 Not only is this extremely poor workmanship, but having a flue directly beside a rafter can be a fire hazard!

08.01.2022 A cracked scissor beam and frame movement is a sign of major structural failure with costly repair bills was one of this weeks finds.

07.01.2022 This is a prime example on how thermal imaging fails! This property had an inspection completed and termite damage was located, and an invasive inspection was deemed essential prior to purchase. The vendor did not want and invasive inspection due to having to repair small holes in the walls and decided to use an inspection company that includes thermal imaging.... The report came back clear of damage and the purchaser proceeded to purchase the property to notice issues within the first week while moving into the property. We have then completed the invasive inspection to note extensive previous damage. Did you know there is no Australian Standard for thermal imaging for termites? What this means is the technician may have little or no experience with no official qualifications. The lesson is do not fall for specials on inspections that include thermal imaging, as if you think you are getting something for free. You’re not! The easy way is never the right way!

05.01.2022 On its way, questions founded, speakers decided, Govt listening?

05.01.2022 A recently complied non compliant pool by an E1 certifier. This must stop, the NSW coroner is watching!

04.01.2022 You never need to use the stairs except to inspect them when the house has its own elevator!

03.01.2022 When the building inspectors says you need a structural engineer, they mean it!

03.01.2022 Shaun and Sarah did everything right before buying their house, including getting a pest report. But after moving in, they realised they weren't alone... #9ACA

01.01.2022 This is what Thermal Imaging is intended to be used for, inspection of under slab heating elements, amongst other uses. We dont use attachments to mobile phones or low end thermal imaging cameras for specialized inspections. This insures accurate and factual results.

01.01.2022 Very discrete termite leads under the plaster tape of the built in robe of this mornings inspection.
