25.01.2022 1990 Following on from a lot of success in the 80s, both Beulah & Hopetoun continued to experience the winning feeling in 1990. After a couple of scares during the season, mostly at the hands of Hopetoun, the senior Beulah side defeated the Devils by 37 points in Woomelang, while in the reserves Hopetoun accounted for Brim by a massive 78 points.... Beulah tasted success on the netball court as the A Grade side enjoyed an 8 goal win over Yaapeet, Hopetoun also taking home a netball premiership in the D Grade. Many thanks to our secret contact at the Warrack Herald for pulling the old papers out of storage to share with y’all. Will post some 2000 memories next week! PS if anyone has photos of the Hopetoun Ressies or D Grade premiership photos send them through and I’ll tack them on

19.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ...that’s also very very exciting! Even more reason to be keen for season 2021! New netball change rooms and spectator facilities for our Beulah home ground MASSIVE thank you and congrats to those who have worked tirelessly on getting this funding (to the tune of over $600k mind you), especially Bridget Williams and the Yarriambiack Shire. 16.01.2022 2000 After three successive grand final losses the Blues finally defeated Brim in the 2000 Grand Final, celebrating alongside the Ressies who notched up their third premiership on the trot. On the netball court Beulah contested all three senior grades, but unfortunately were victorious in B Grade only, despite a stellar year for all teams.... Hopetoun C Graders made it to the prelim final before giving way to Beulah, while the Under 16s suffered defeat at the hands of Ouyen Utd on the same day despite a BOG performance by one S Cook - our current Giants Pres. 2000 was also the year club legend Tony Lehmann notched up his 400th game, Tyler’s got a bit to go yet!

02.01.2022 Hey Giants, it's about time we share some good stuff! We are absolutely stoked to announce the return of premiership player Luke Mahony to the Southern Mallee Giants following a stint back at his (other) home club. Luke is a solid performer both on and off field, we can't wait to see what 2021 brings. Welcome back Luke! Luke will be working alongside Coleman Schache, who has been reappointed for a 4th year. Coleman is held in super high regard by everyone at our club, and we'...re proud to have both of these guys leading and representing us when we hopefully get back to business in 2021. Go Giants
