21.01.2022 Hi Everyone Today we had confirmation again that there are still no short term holiday lets allowed until a review at the end of June. To anyone considering coming to Macleay Island and staying overnight in a a holiday let please be aware this may result in a $1,300 aday fine for breaching social distancing rules. Hopefully we will be able to see all of our regular visitors in July if everyone abides by this rule. Cheers Belinda

18.01.2022 On the 1st of June it was announced that Queenslander's can travel overnight within Queensland. This means that Macleay Island Accommodation can reopen to visitors.

14.01.2022 Hi everyone This is heart breaking but on Wednesday just gone l had a call from Redland Tourism asking that all bookings for accommodation for the next 3 months were cancelled on Macleay Island due to a non essential travel ban. It was actually too little too late as all bookings until August had already cancelled. There is no compensation being offered to operator's but if everyone could spend as many $$$ on the island as possible that would help other island business 's ...survive. Stay safe Belinda See more

13.01.2022 DALPURA DAYZ This comfortable 3 bedroom family home is set on the waterfront at Dalpura Bay, the best beach on Macleay Island. Just wander down the front yard, down your private boat ramp and you're on the sandy beach. Upstairs the highlight of the house is an open plan area with a huge country kitchen containing all the mod cons for a comfortable stay. There,s a breakfast bar, dining and lounge area all with water views opening to the deck. If you really must work there is a... large office with plenty os storage and a private verandah. The master bedroom is full of light with a king-sized bed, big built in robes, water views and doors opening to the deck. The deck is a great outdoor living space, fully screened, with an 8 person dining suite and BBQ all overlooking the beach. This level also has a large bathroom with a seperate wc. Downstairs is perfect for the children. There is a large rumpus room with built in kitchenette/bar area and 2 good sized bedrooms. The rumpus room and one of the bedrooms have more water views and doors leading out to a second fully screened deck overlooking the water. Each bedroom downstairs has a double and a single bed so there is loads of sleeping space. The bathroom on this level has a bath with an overhead shower, lovely to soak in after a tough day doing nothing. See more

09.01.2022 THE BOATHOUSE Set on the beachfront admist landscaped gardens offers you stunning waterviews and spectacular sunsets. There are 3 luxurious queen-size bedrooms with well appointed ensuites. The fourth bedroom is adaptable with either a king-size bed or 2 singles. This room is disabled friendly with a huge ensuite. All rooms have private entrances leading to the verandah and gardens. There is a guest lounge, dining area with kitchenette, BBQ and lots of private areas in the gardens to relax in. Guests receive the complimentary use of sea kayaks, bicycles, fishing equipment,private jetty, dinghy and golf clubs.

Located on Macleay Island,overlooking the pristine waters of Dalpura Bay. The three bedroom, two kitchen, two bathroom house is set up for fabulous family holidays and group getaways.... You can walk straight down the path in the front yard and onto the beach. Ideal for fishing, kayaking, building sand castles or just watching the boats on the water. Due to the unique floor plan this house can also be enjoyed as a one or two bedroom apartment. The upstairs can be enjoyed as a romantic getaway with a huge master bedroom, water views from the upper floor and a big spa bath to relax in. The lower level can become a two bedroom apartment still with amazing water views and a big spa bath. Both levels have a kitchen. See more
