22.01.2022 Just a quick note about entries. When filling out the entry form, will you please include your full postal address. This is simply so we can post something out to you if the need should arise, without having to chase you up. I know most communication is done on line now but you'd be surprised what can happen. It's also nice to know where all our visitors are from. Also, please include where you are staying. I don't need to know an exact address just the town you are staying at. This helps us immensely when we do the draws so we can try to limit really early morning starts, especially when you have an hour of travelling. Thank you

13.01.2022 Kingston Golf Course is a professionally designed fully watered 18 hole layout set among undulating coastal sandy rises with beautiful tree lined fairways. The 6057m course (5227 for ladies ) is extremely well maintained and features many grassy hollows and mounds that add difficulty to the course, particularly those bordering the couch fairways and superb bent grass greens. Register for the Southern Ports Golf Week played annually begins last February of February. Numerous ‘...dog leg’ holes entice the more adventurous golfer to seek the reward of ‘short cutting’ (the hole) by taking on the challenge of the trees on the corners. The Par 5 18th hole features a large gum tree in the middle of the fairway, the golfer faces the decision of which side of the tree to play their second shot. The course is easily walked by the older player. 10.01.2022 Entries have been steady now for several weeks, but the Ladies 54 hole event is now full with several on a waiting list. All other events still have room with entries due to close on 29/1/21. Would really like to see some more men in the field though. As it stands at the moment, the Mens 54 hole comp would probably be played in 2 grades. So come on fellas, we would love to see you here. Just a reminder too that payment is required at the same time as your entry. Thanks

07.01.2022 Beachport golf course is a short 9 hole layout which is situated on primarily flat land. There is one hill which runs along the edge of the course from on the 1st and 8th holes. The rest of the course is flat with no undulating surfaces at all. Register for Southern Ports Golf begins week last Saturday in February annually. The fairways are kept in good condition and the greens. Birdies are available at almost every hole due to the openness of this layout.

03.01.2022 To our Southern Ports Friends. Entries are now coming in fairly steadily, but the ladies 54 hole event is filling quite quickly. There are a number of people who have entered but not paid their entry fee (about 30 in total). If you are one these people, please pay your entry fee ASAP. For those who haven't entered as yet, will you please pay your entry fee at the time of registration. Thank you

02.01.2022 Our annual Southern Ports Golf Week will be happening again in 2021. My apologies to the Victorian clubs that at this point in time we are unable to accept any of your entries. However, we are hopeful that we will be able to accept your entries well before our closing date of 29/1/2021. (Great news!! Have just had an email to say that travel restrictions with Victoria will removed from December 1). This year our fields for the 54 hole Championship will be strictly limited to 64 entries. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
