24.01.2022 Late last year we took possession of a fantastic new 3 tiered Ally seating system for the Alley Park Sporting Complex. A fantastically built unit by the lads at Decked Out Fab on Riverstone Road and all made possible due the great funding received form the Cairns Regional Council via the Go Clubs Infrastructure Assistance Fund!

23.01.2022 We are looking for a Club Secretary and a club Treasurer for 2021. All of out accounts and correspondence is done online so majority of the work can be done remotely. Please PM for details?

21.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! It is with great pleasure we can announce the signing of Paul Stevens to the Head coaching role for Suburbs for the 2021 Season. Paul bring years of quality playing and coaching experience having played A Grade and Foley Shield football in the CDRL and coached numerous grades right through to A Grade in his most recent position. Paul brings to our club a hard working, committed and competitive attitude that is sure to show great results. Join us welcoming Paul and his family to our club, good times ahead.

18.01.2022 Reserve Grade Coaches APPOINTED We are thrilled to announce that a couple of Cockatoos have taken on the Reserve Grade Coaching role for 2021. Both Hadyn Busch and Steven Cavanagh come with great history and experience with our club. Steven is returning after being appointed to coach in 2020 and is now joined by 2011 A Grade Grand final player Busch who we all know has an exceptional footy brain and passion for the club. Welcome boys and thank you!

12.01.2022 AGM date has now been set. We are desperately looking for new faces on our Committee. We will have a strong team of volunteers but could always use the extra set of hands, even if you are purely interested in being on the committee, we appreciate any new ideas. We will be accepting coaching applications for our A Grade team as well as expressions of interest in support roles with each of our 4 teams, this includes strapping, gear maintenance, assistant coaches, First Aid offi...cers, League safe water runners etc. Applications will be open for all vacated Executive positions: President Vice President Treasurer Secretary Registrar See more
