21.01.2022 WANTED! We are looking for someone to take on the role of Fundraising Co-Ordinator for our 2021 season. This is a great opportunity to work with our brilliant committee, players and Club Supporters. This role will of course involve the planning and organisation of club events, and perhaps the inclusion of some exciting new fundraising opportunities. 20.01.2022 A word from Keith Canning after yesterday’s win against the West End Bulldogs Hello Supporters Magnificent weekend.... The Boys knocked over the West End Bulldogs in the Volunteer Cup at Clive Berghofer Stadium in an absolute contest. I rarely acknowledge backs but Chutey got flattened at 5/8 in the first half - got up and kept into the other mob right to the end. Our outside backs being completely out weighed terrorised the opposition. Our pack was ......well I will just say tough. Our young committee got it spot on. Covid/Smovid. The field was magnificent and the afternoon / night rolled out without a hitch The junior club had young fellows there who clapped our lads on. And these young blokes stayed until the end cheering our lads on to the win. Put a lump in my throat The game was in memory of one of the best to ever play for South's. Our lads did Teddy Gill one of Souths top 13 for the last 100 years proud. Happy Fathers Day It's good to be a South's Tiger Side by side

02.01.2022 Training 2020 Over the next 2 weeks we will be running some sessions on Wednesday’s out of the bottom oval at gold park. Starting this Wednesday 9/12 6 pm start and all game/ball work to get the ball rolling for the preseason. 01.01.2022 Yesterday we awarded our 2020 Best and Fairest awards for our season in the Volunteer's Cup in Ipswich. 2020 Best and Fairest Winners: Jordan Crocker and Kyle 'King of the Royal' Petersen We were extremely fortunate to have Kyle and Crock return to the Tigers this year after representative opportunities with the Ipswich Jets and the Western Mustangs over the past few years.... KP and Crock are some of the toughest, most consistent boys in the club and always provided the go forward and heavy-hitting defence that the boys needed, proving their status as two of the best up and coming forwards in the comp. Well done to both Jordan and Kyle for great 2020 seasons. #sidebyside
