25.01.2022 Thanks to our supporters and followers. Not only are we a successful club on the pitch, we are also successful in the social media stakes. According to a five-year analysis of clubs and associations around Australia conducted by Shunt Creative we are in the top 3 for hockey clubs around Australia for Facebook engagements of any Australian hockey club in 2019. We were also top 3 for the return on content (reactions per post). A huge thanks to the people behind the scenes making facebook happen for us.

20.01.2022 Great news for parents and junior community sport. Now Victoria, like NSW will have kids sport vouchers available. For the first time ever, up to 100,000 Victorian kids will be given $200 sports vouchers to help cover the cost of getting involved. New bats, balls, uniforms, memberships and sign-up fees can be paid for and the vouchers will be available next year in time for community sport to get going again.

14.01.2022 Last night it was the under 10s who hit the pitch at Dendy St - hosted by Powerhouse. How good is it to see them all out on the pitch. Tomorrow night our hook in 2 hockey is back, as well as the Under 18 flaming sharks. It never stops with our juniors.

11.01.2022 Great news with Daniel Andrews announcement over the last couple of days and as a club we can start preparing to getting back out on the pitch. There are various formalities that need to be completed before we can get out there, but we hope that won't take too long. Seniors (19 & over) will only be able to participate in non-contact training ie keep 1.5m apart, while juniors will be able to play/train real hockey. We will keep you all informed as we get ready to get out on the pitch. Keep an eye on your inbox for the next stage of exciting news.

09.01.2022 Blast from the past. A very young womens firsts team playing against Knox in 2015. A 13 year old Amy Lawton weaves some magic to set up Liv Downes. Great to see a lot of this group still involved, they are now one of the best teams in Victoria.

07.01.2022 The safety fence around the main baseball diamond has been removed due to damage. This can/will result in flying balls in to the car park. It is suggested you park at the Farm Rd end of the car park or on Farm Rd, and walk across until this is fixed. Council are aware of the problem.

01.01.2022 The Committee of the Women's Section would like to announce the leadership group for the WPL squad for the 2021 season. They are: Emily Hamilton-Smith, Emma Cole, Georgia Elston and Liv Carruthers. These women were voted for by their peers in the WPL/R squad. The committee wish them all the best for 2021 and have the utmost confidence in their abilities. We look forward to them leading and guiding their squad and team mates, in close cooperation with Senior coach Matt L'Huillier, for a strong competitive season.
