24.01.2022 A little reminder, the dreamy @hillandalegardens Open Garden Weekend is only two days away. We're looking forward to joining our fellow local artisans in Sarah's slice of paradise. Situated at Yetholme, between the Blue Mountains and Bathurst, come and share in the garden inspiration and a little bit of early Christmas shopping. There's no need to book and entry is just $15 for adults and free for children.

18.01.2022 If you’re a little like us and are mesmerised by the wonderful country gardens Australia has to offer, then we want to tell you about not one, but two of our favourite local places for perusing magical garden rooms and pretty pastel annuals. Firstly, a reminder the wonderful @hillandalegardens Open Garden day is getting close. Sarah Ryan will open her private garden for just two days only 21-22nd of November for all of us to enjoy. There'll be local arts and crafts and othe...r lovely things too, including Southern Wild Co candles. Secondly, our friends @rockleygardenandarts are launching their new website this weekend and to celebrate, their will be a live ‘virtual’ garden tour and art show in lieu of actually opening (another COVID casualty, and boy are we going to miss those scones with jam and cream ). 06.01.2022 A love of drawing guided artist Natasha Daniloff, a girl from the bush with Russian heritage and gift for music, on a journey that led to a magical garden studio, nestled amongst the beauty of the Blue Mountains National Park. We were first drawn to Natasha’s beautiful ethereal landscapes through her instagram page @natashadaniloffartist and after learning more about her work, commissioned Natasha to paint an image for our new Signature Candle, Hidden Vale an image that captures a sense of that place where the warmth of last light on sandstone cliffs slips into the shadows of the hidden gullies below. During the COVID-19 lockdown, writer Sally Marwood interviewed Natasha remotely for our journal 'Wild About’. You can read the interview now via the link above Enjoy!

01.01.2022 We couldn’t let today go by with mentioning, it’s a certain four-legged team member’s birthday today. He’s always there by our side, usually just out of shot but somehow managing to position himself right out in front and then, rather belligerently, refusing to move. Head of guarding food (including sometimes helping himself to the wax) , chief Swallow-chaser and tester of ALL the couches, he’s a constant patient and integral part of the Southern Wild Co team and we couldn’t do without him.
