22.01.2022 We’re planning to reopen on Monday 9th November, and can’t wait to see you here in classes again! Our teachers are ready and we are just waiting on the final details re Covid requirements. Will send out an email as soon as we know. We will have to restrict numbers in classes, and probably ask you to book in and bring your own mat, cushion, blanket, water bottle etc. as much as possible to keep our studio Covid safe. Nothing we haven’t done before! See you soon!

At 13 I was given a book by my sister’s friend about a Tibetan Lama and became interested in meditation and spirituality. I also developed a love of natural food, medicine and travel. 16.01.2022 I asked the students, during the first lockdown, to tell me what the gift in it was, and they wrote some beautiful replies. Freud puts the concept of struggle and difficulty in a beautiful way too: One day in retrospect, the years of struggle will strike you as the most beautiful.
16.01.2022 So lovely to have you all back in classes again! Everyone has been cooperative and patient with the Covid requirements . Sanitising hands, no problem, distancing, no reminders needed, masks? The feedback from students is that it’s not a problem and that after a while they forget they’re wearing them in the classes. We're allowed to drop them down for a bit if we’re out of breath but nobody has needed to. Thank you everyone, everything has been running so smoothly!
12.01.2022 Boat pose. Navasana. The full version is to release the hold on your toes and stretch both arms forwards. This posture strengthens and tones abdominal organs and especially strengthens the hip flexors and adductor muscles too. It might not be the easiest posture to do at first but keep practicing and it will give you good balance and confidence. As with all posture work, start from your starting point and enjoy the process.

03.01.2022 These have been tough times for many people. They represent a challenge and a test, and also an opportunity for healing. Yet what if the point is not to pass the test or to overcome the problem? Do things really get solved? They come together and they fall apart. They come together again and they fall apart again. Healing arises from letting there be room for all of this to happen: room for sadness, room for relief, for despair, for joy ...
