06.01.2022 The League Fairest & Best award is named the Allomes Medal following our debut 2020 season in the WAFLW. The Allomes medal is named after two amazing women, and their family, for all of their hard work, dedication, love & passion they put into the Women’s club. Jenna Allomes and Sally Allomes established the Women’s team in 2007. With no time wasted, a committee was created, presidents were appointed, coaches selected & players were drawn to play for the Mighty Bulldogs. ...These two ladies took on multiple roles throughout their time, including Jenna being on the committee, club president, playing every season for 10 years and then taking on head coach. Sally was always at games early and the last to leave, taking on many roles including sports trainer, president, committee member, WAFL representative, but most important- a mum to us all. We are so proud and honoured to have this medal named after two inspirational women, who drove the wheels of this club for many years. Jenna and Sally truely made this the ‘Premiership Family Club’. It is with great pride, that we congratulate the inaugural winner, our captain... Lauren Vecchio our 2020 ALLOMES MEDALIST
