17.01.2022 South Geelong Netball Association will be continuing our Junior Netball competitions in line with the updated government advice issued today and the below Netball Victoria guidelines. Whilst we acknowledge the COVID-19 threat, we encourage all players and spectators to maintain their hand hygiene, cover up with masks (mandatory from Aug 3) and ensure social distancing when watching games. Let’s play safe, so we can slow the spread.

15.01.2022 ***Representive Trials 2021*** Trials for the South Geelong Netball Association Representative teams will be held at Grinter Reserve, 177 Coppards Road, Newcomb. DATE - Sunday 8th & 15th November commencing @ 9:30am. ... 11/U 9.30am - 11am 13/U 11am - 12.30pm 15/U & 17/U 12.30pm 2pm Information: We respectfully ask for no parents/spectatators to be present, during the trialling process. Players MUST trial wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts or leggings. Those who are not in correct attire, will be asked to change or will not be able to trial. Please arrive 15mins early and see our Selection Committee upon entry to get your leg number for trials. 15.01.2022 **Netball Update** In line with the updated regulations by the State Government announced yesterday, regional Victoria will be moving back to Stage 3 restrictions as of Wednesday. This halts all junior sports and in line with Netball Victoria’s post (below) we will be suspending the current season for 6 weeks effective Wednesday the 5th of August. ... Let’s hope we can flatten the curve once again and return happy & healthy to the game we love. Stay safe. Geelong Sports Hub

06.01.2022 **COVID UPDATE** Whilst today has provided some good news in terms of a staged reopening for Regional Victoria. Netball Victoria has yet to announce their endorsement for the return to outdoor Junior netball. Unfortunately for us at South Geelong Netball Association, we may need to wait that little bit longer as we utilise the indoor facilities of Geelong Sports Hub which are not permitted to open until we reach the Government’s Last Step. Our thoughts are with the team at G...SH, who we know can’t wait to have us all back on court. Geelong let’s keep these numbers down and look forward to some good news come the 23rd November.
