Between Yellowstone Canyon and Mammoth Springs (on the eastern road of the top loop). This guy (probably 1&1/2 yrs of age) was attempting to cross the road to join his mother but had missed his opportunity and then the cars stopped and banked up as people photographed him. 15.01.2022 Thank you to everyone for your understanding and patience as we work on your bookings and answer your questions. As you know this is a very dynamic situation with changes daily. Last week the government asked Australians to defer non essential travel, many countries are now not processing visas. Australia has announced that anyone entering the country will undergo mandatory isolation for 2 weeks. Many cruise lines have ceased operating for up until end of April and the world... is cancelling large sporting and social events. There is a lot to take in and a huge adjustment to our lives which is happening rapidly. In regards to your holiday: Unless you are due to travel in the months of March, April and May, our advice is to wait and watch and keep up to date by referring to the Department of Foreign Affairs Smarttraveller website www.smartraveller.org.au and WHO (World Health Organisation) www.who.int. These offical publications will refer you to the facts and filter any media reporting. I'm sure appreciate we have many clients who have put their trust in our team at Southlands Travel & Cruise. You are one of these valued clients who have made the conscious decision to have a Travel Professional handle your travel arrangements. We are here to help you in this unprecedented time. We are focusing our attention on those clients currently in the midst of their overseas holidays and those due to depart in the next 2 to 4 weeks. If you are due to travel on or after 01st June 2020 it is still too early to make any decisions or for us to give you the best possible advice. A number of cruise lines and tour operators have ceased all operations for a period of 2 months, at which time their current advice is that they will resume operations. Whilst we are aware you may have already made a decision not to travel or to postpone your travel to a future date, our advice is to please be patient and wait. For departures beyond May 2020 the majority of airlines, tour operators, etc are still charging full cancellation and amendment fees, as are all other tour operators, cruise lines, etc. However, this is changing on a daily and weekly basis so please wait for our updates. Cancelling now will likely cost you money, waiting could mean you are able to get more of your money back as the situation and advice and rules change. We are diligently working around the clock looking after both our clients currently travelling and assessing any upcoming travels.
