25.01.2022 And that's a wrap for the 2018-19 Victorian Fistball League. The team had a strong finish to Fistivus XLIII - Blend 43, winning a few sets but not the matches. Our very own Lee Morony wins yet another Best and Fistest for the tournament, proving his prowess as The Power Station! There was such a surge on the grid that Coach Tommy Helber had to explain the phenomenon to the local Council! Congrats to Fist Club for taking out the Peter Norman Trophy (again!), they are worthy winners. A big thank you to all who supported South Melbourne Fistball Club and especially to the players who have pulled on the Green Demon jersey this season. There is no rest for the wicked, now we can focus on the IFA 2019 Fistball Men's World Championship! #fiston #SMGD #fistballallovertheworld

24.01.2022 What a lovely day it was for Fistivus XXXIX - Raise Your Fist & Yell! Your South Melbourne Fistball Club Green Demons had 2 wins and 2 losses but had fun in the sun overall, especially for first-time fister Sam Warren! Thanks for playing Sam, we look forward to having you again next month! (ice those forearms!) #fiston #SMGD

14.01.2022 Good to be back in the fold today for the South Melbourne Fistball Club at Fistivus XLII, with wins over LionStorm Fistball Club and Bay City Fisters. We couldn't have done it without the help from our tournament guest, Master Swiss Setter Renée, who along with Lee were both awarded Best and Fistest for the day! Congrats to Fist Club on yet another overall tournament win! #fiston! #SMGD #fistballallovertheworld

Now it's time for the return of the Fistball Federation of Australia's Victorian Fistball League 2018/19 Season. A re-shaped season means more summer months will be included. The South Melbourne Fistball Club Green Demons will look to bounce back from their victorious wooden spoon campaign and regain the Roger Willen Shield once again! 10.01.2022 It is now customary for all Australian national Fistball players to undertake a 'Presidential Challenge' as part of their national team selection. We not only w...ant the best fistball players, we want the best team players! Each Presidential challenge takes a different form, be it physical, social or mental. For the 2018 APFC, all Australian Fistball team members were required to compose a Haiku poem professing their love for our great game. In honour of our strong German ties, we also asked that they all recite it in German. Danke und Faust weiter! See more
