19.01.2022 November 21 2019 one year ago today was the start of the toughest fire season in Victoria for some time. 18.01.2022 Understanding Warnings and Emergency Information You should never wait to receive an official warning before you leave. Fires can start quickly and threaten homes and lives within minutes. Understand the levels of warnings and don’t expect warnings to be issued in any particular order. The first warning you could get could be an Emergency Warning.... https://www.cfa.vic.gov.au/warnings.../about-warnings

08.01.2022 The garage fire yesterday at Flame Crescent was believed to have started from a BBQ at the rear of the garage. Please check your BBQ fittings for any leaks with a spray bottle with soapy water before your first use each season, and keep your BBQ at least 50cm from any exterior wall. The fire was attended by FRV Station 81 South Morang, Station 11 Thomastown and Mernda CFA as well as South Morang CFA.
