13.01.2022 The completed works by Stephanie at South Pacific Taxidermy. A magnificent rendering of a distressed seal pup and the damage that released balloon strings can cause in the environment . The wound detail is superb, an actual cast of the injury then reproduced and detailed by Stephanie . Thumbs up all the way on this one.

01.01.2022 How it all happens. Some people believe it is a simple as buying a form and pulling it all together,or casting over a flat lifeless carcass to create that ideal mount. Not so. This leaping Thar is inspired by a model sculptured in the 1990s by World Champion Don Holt of Texas , A smaller model by some 6 inches nose to base of tail, it will target a majority of medium sized specimens. One could buy an original and cut it to size or create your own. With a sliding dollar and ...the expense of having one shipped from the USA now pushing $1500 aud , it will become art of our new inventory. Next week the very competent Stephanie Weeda will complete the foam up stage, detailing and tooling in oil clay so we can complete the mould this month. It will be an exciting new addition to Australian trophy rooms with limited space, or as a wall mount leaping through the air with side bracket support.
