25.01.2022 Yes we remain open. We continue to monitor the regularly changing guidelines. What can you do to help? 1. Please keep attending - every customer is a valued customer and is important to us 2. During the wash / dry cycles please return to your car / wait outside. Whilst we have large internal space it will ensure we can continue to comply with the current indoor gathering restrictions 3. Please review the tips on our earlier posts - some of these are general etiquette but they... also do work to provide you a better laundry experience 4. Call us if you have any queries or concern. We can be contacted at anytime on 0447 023 400 At this stage - our drop and go service will continue to operate (please ensure you book online or contact us). As a small family business we rely on you - our valued customers. In most locations across the world when other businesses have unfortunately had to close - laundry operators have been permitted to remain open. We believe laundry is an essential part of everyday life and will continue to maintain South Perth Laundromat to the high standards of your local laundromat.

25.01.2022 Just like personnel exercise all dryers have a cool down period (no heat) at the end of the cycle to remove excessive heat from the clothes before folding. Our set time is among the lowest in the industry so you get maximum value from your money! To reduce waiting it is important to add additional time you require before the final 2 minutes. At any time during the cycle the door can be opened to check and extra money can be added - don't forget to press the START button to add the time to your dryer pocket! As a reminder an average dryer load would be $4-$5 (28-35 minutes) depending on the fabrics. There is no need to run our dryers for 90+ minutes.

21.01.2022 The weekend rain forecast is jumping around a bit - however it appears to be wet and heavy for a few days. Avoid the peak usage times and be sure to take advantage of our long opening hours - 5AM to 10PM. More customers daily are using the DexterPay mobile application to pay for their laundry (instead of using coins / tokens). Try it today!

20.01.2022 To ensure you have a great experience each time you visit we proactively undertake regular maintenance on the equipment - a lot you don't see. Whilst other locations will have constant drain issues this proves our locations run the best systems in Perth. We even caught a spoon that was able to make its way out of the machine! Also mum's rule applies - check your pockets so you are not donating to the washing lady

17.01.2022 Some great changes are coming to South Perth Laundromat over the next few weeks. In preparation we have improved our WiFi system which you will notice some changes when you connect. Once connected, you will be prompted via a website for the guest password (which is on the screen inside the laundromat). This continues to be a free service provided to our customers. Simply enter the password to connect - simple!

16.01.2022 We are open all long weekend - opening at 5AM and closing at 10PM. During wet weather we do experience higher demand for the equipment - especially the dryers. Please be aware of fellow customers that may be waiting to use them by promptly removing your items once they are finished.

14.01.2022 We value the health of you, your families, and your communities. Amid growing concerns around the Coronavirus COVID-19, Dexter Laundry have compiled a few tips for safe laundry care. South Perth Laundromat has built its reputation not only on providing a safe and reliable laundry service but with a vigorous cleaning & sanitising regime which is just as important to us.

13.01.2022 The cooler weather is coming - this will bring as we saw last week a significant increase in dryer usage. To ensure fair use please ensure you promptly remove your drying. Most dryer cycles can be completed 28-35 minutes - you don't need to run a cycle for 90 minutes like you would on a home dryer. We have 30 dryers located across our network with other locations at Byford Laundromat and Forrestdale Laundromat.... If you do experience any unforeseen problems please contact us on 0447 023 400.

12.01.2022 Yes we remain open. To comply with current government guidelines South Perth Laundromat is to be limited to no more then 5 people inside. To ensure everyone's safety and to help us with these restrictions please: 1. One person per family at a time inside... 2. Sort / fold your laundry at home 3. Wait outside whilst your laundry is in the machines We have additional signage on the entry doors, inside the laundromat and also information on the advertising screens.

11.01.2022 We have sought guidance from the Small Business Development Corporation WA in relation to the government's announcement overnight of social gatherings being reduced to 2. There is currently no "essential service" business list and as such South Perth Laundromat is still operating within current guidelines. We require ALL customers to continue to follow the published social distancing guidelines and adhere to the maximum people inside as noted on our entry doors. Whilst personnel hygiene is well published it is also strongly recommended clothes are washed daily. As this is a frequent question being received we have requested they consider this in future community messaging.
