21.01.2022 I am putting the NuWave DAC in the smaller demo room alongside the DirectStream DAC at the moment. It has maybe about 20 hours or so of running in. First impressions are good. It doesn't have that same level of resolution as the DirectStream - which is a bit difficult to expect for a product that is almost 1/6th the price - but it doesn't lack in detail. But where it got me was its very beautiful midrange, so with vocals, it becomes very engaging to listen to.
