22.01.2022 What a wild ride this year has been. It is time for Kerrie and I to say our goodbyes. Thank you all for your support through this difficult period. We are both very grateful for your kindness and understanding through what I can easily say has been the most challenging 6 months of our lives. A special thank you to our incredible staff and regular patrons for all your help, we couldn’t have made it through to this point without you. We wish our Southport community all the be...st for the future and thank you again for welcoming Rod and Kerrie to this beautiful paradise that you call home. Cheers, Scott and Kerrie

18.01.2022 Given that we are still operating in uncertain times and still need to stick to our Covid plan.... Our current opening hours are as follows. The shop is open from 9am - 5pm everyday ... The hotel opens from 4pm Monday to Friday from with meals between 6pm and 8pm Sat and Sun we open at midday and serve lunch between 12- 2pm and dinner between 6-8pm

16.01.2022 Thank you all so much for the warm welcome back! There has been a lot happening in the kitchen today and we are excited to be opening for meals tonight from 6pm with some great specials. First is our swimming chicken....tender freshly crumbed chicken breast topped with prawns and scallops in a creamy garlic sauce. ... The old favourite Steak sandwich. And our Chicken burger, made with freshly crumbed tenderloins. Hope to see some familiar and new faces join us tonight.

02.01.2022 As quite a few of you already know..... I’ve taken over the lease at Southport hotel. Although times are a bit uncertain, I’m looking forward to the opportunity to work in this great community again. While we are sorting out a few things there will be no meals tonight and tomorrow night, but from Friday night we will kick off and continue to do meals every night with some great specials on the menu. Over the next few weeks there will be a few changes to the menu, but if there’s something you would like to see stay or something you really want ..... just let me know and we’ll do our best to make these changes. The bar will still be open tonight and tomorrow night.
