25.01.2022 Football is returning for Southport soccer club. With the Premier league mens first grade and reserve grade playing their first trial game of the season. This Saturday the boys will travel to Logan metro at 3pm and 5pm. It will be a good test for all new and current players and hopefully we can start the 2021 season with 2 wins.

I will be your Junior Technical Director for 2021, I can’t wait to get to know you all this season. I just wanted to give you all a heads up to keep an eye out for many changes around the junior club! I’m so excited to be able to announce these changes in the near future. The first big announcement I’m pleased to be able to make is that former junio...r coach and player Rylan Crouch (pictured) will be returning to coach!!! Rylan is a great young coach with awesome footballing knowledge and qualifications. The club is very excited to be able to have him back. 15.01.2022 !!! Exciting News !!! We would like to welcome Kristina ‘Dimi’ Dimovski to her exciting new role as Metro Women’s coach for 2021. Dimi brings a wealth of knowledge having been on the football scene for 15+ years. Dimi has been apart of Southport for 4 years having played in the Brisbane Women’s Premier League side for 2 years as well as making an appearance in last years Southport Women’s metro side. Dimi is looking forward to the 2021 season and welcomes all new and returning players to come down to training starting Monday 18th January 2021 commencing at 6:30

09.01.2022 Southport Soccer Club welcomes Steve MacDonald to the Warriors as Premier League Coach for season 2021. Steve brings a wealth of coaching experience with him to the club and is keen to see the Warriors be successful moving forward. Information on preseason training will be forthcoming shortly.

05.01.2022 Our Div 1 metro girls warming up last night ready to take on Palm Beach. A convincing 6-1 win saw the girls continue there 4 game unbeaten run and move within touching distance of a top 4 finish!!!

The next major project now that our balcony has been completed is to replace our existing roof and install 242 solar panels.This in a few years will eliminate our electricity bill which is over $2000.00 per month.What we need is a structural engineer to inspect and check that our trusses can take the extra weight of the solar panels.we also require a quote from a roofing company and a solar company.Or a company that can handle the entire project. As our club... house is built on Council land Council need to oversee every aspect of the project. Love to hear from people who can help. Gary Hugo President Life Member.
