20.01.2022 U13's Game Report from Coach Deano After losing the toss we bowled first against a strong Mudgee batting line up with their two opening batsman just coming off a big week of schoolboy cricket at Toowoomba and making the Queensland team. Our boys started well with Jackson and Cooper keeping it tight. Two brilliant direct hit run-outs from our skipper Cooper at mid wicket had both openers in the shed.... We kept the pressure on and started to chip away at their top order with a few mudgee batsman retiring. Eventually we made some breakthroughs with consistent and tight bowling. Liam Kent picked up a big wicket and Chris Shield and Noah Young bowling well also picking up some wickets. Another direct hit runout by Noah and some safe hands from Sammy Brooks with two catches helped. Cooper came back on and was on a hat trick after knocking over two mudgee batsman in consecutive balls with his pace and keeping them under 200 was a big chance. Jackson snicked off their last batsman and the innings closed on 194. Great all round effort lads and looking forward to this weekend to see our batting display against a very handy bowling attack. #likeatiger #TigerTales

15.01.2022 Junior Tiger Update A big shoutout to 2 of our Junior Players; Rhys Horne & Cooper Johnson... The boys recently competed in the South Coast School Sport Under 12’s team out in Toowoomba having a successful trip! Making the grand final but unfortunately not able to take out the main prize finishing 2nd. Both boys were amongst some runs & wickets at times throughout and had a great time, always easier with your mates in the team Cooper pictured below with one of the standout performances scoring 50no off only 23 balls! Showing that Tiger competitiveness A massive congratulations also goes to Cooper Coop Johnson who with his performances with Bat & Ball saw him selected in: Queensland School Boys Under 12 side!! A fantastic achievement and all of the Tigers couldn’t be prouder. A lot of hard work and dedication paying off! Future of Tigerland continued to thrive! #likeatiger

15.01.2022 JUNIOR TIGER UPDATE How good is this!! One of our Juniors - Bilal Hasham has taken out the Player of the Week for our SENIOR grades! In only his 2nd game playing 4th grade Bilal scored his 1st Century brining it up off only 68 balls and Bonogin couldn’t get him out. Finishing on 104 not out. He also took 2 wickets in the bowling innings! ... Well done Bilal on a fantastic achievement and can’t wait to see you continue to score runs in both Juniors & Seniors #likeatiger

07.01.2022 EXCITING JUNIOR NEWS Some great news for our Juniors heading into this season - this year the club has put together a Senior Player Engagement initiative at Junior Training Some might of noticed that this actually started last week. Led off by the 1st XI Captain - Nic Peterson! ... This year skippers from our 1st, 2nd & 3rd XI will lead off the first 4 weeks along with club coach Simon Belston. Simmo will be there tomorrow at Junior Training, with 2nd XI Skipper Chris Dickson the week after and 3rd XI Skipper Andrew Byrne the following week. After this our top 24 guys in our playing group then take turns each week coming down to assist coaches and players with improving their skills and confidence Massive thank you to Simon Belston, Nic Peterson & the committee for getting this off the ground so the future of the Tigers continues to thrive Let your kids know the seniors will be down to help them out this season and get them ready for the season #likeatiger
