24.01.2022 William is feeling so much better and confident with ‘yellow leg’ so we went exploring in Palm Beach on this beautiful Sunday. First we toured a Pirate Ship, t...hen went and had some lunch and walk around the streets of City Place. William loved the buses and watching the big cars in the streets. We stopped for a milk shake, a visit to the Candy shop, arcade games before heading the grocery store where he got to see a Police car. Post Op appointment with Dr Paley tomorrow and Physio

24.01.2022 Hoppy Easter from William and family As you can see he is continuing to do really well. We are on the count down now to our journey home. Looking forward to... getting back to our friends and therapists William still has a way to go with intensive rehabilitation. With all the love and support he receives I’m sure he will continue to excel

15.01.2022 Williams 2nd physio session today... a lot of noise Miss Marissa says he is doing really well. It wouldn’t be easy to learn to walk on one leg especially never having mastered walking to begin with.

09.01.2022 We also had a post op check up with Dr Paley today. He is very happy with the outcome. He leg is so straight, wounds are healing well and a massive amount of bo...ne graft in there. I can actually feel how chunky his Tibia is. William was over it by the time we saw him. He had a hour physio session prior, plus X-rays, a surprise cast removal and a 2 hour wait all on a empty tummy. He was done by this point

04.01.2022 Today William got his hard cast and straight after he had his first Physical Therapy session. I was showed some exercises to keep his hip range of motion so th...at his hip that the bone graft doesn’t freeze up from lack of weight barring for the next 3 months. Here is a little video of him learning to stand on one leg.
