23.01.2022 Pre Season training for Youth teams U12 to U17 & Colts starts next week (from Monday the 18th of January) ALL Players are Welcome, whether you are new to football or looking to change clubs, please contact our registrar Please register ASAP before training gets underway and don't forget you're water bottles. Covid 19 protocols are still in place so you will need to register your attendance for all training sessions with your Coaches (as per last year)... 23.01.2022 Southport Sharks will re enter the QFA competition in 2021 as a stand alone club. We would like to thank Surfers Paradise for the past 2 years in partnership hosting the Surfers Sharks and wish Surfers paradise demons Colts all the best for the 2021 season. If you are intending to play Colts at Southport in 2021 please contact [email protected] so we can organise transfers which close at the end of November. The next opportunity to transfer is March next year. We... just need your name and DOB and we will do the transfer for you. At this stage there may be up to 16 teams in the QFA colts competition which may end up being one competition, or there will be a North and South zone. If that is the case, Southport will play in the South zone. Coaching interviews will be underway shortly and training dates will be advised once our full coaching team is appointed. We are also on the look out for a qualified sports trainer or someone who is interested in getting those qualification. Southport Sharks Colts will also play curtain raiser games for the Southport Sharks now VFL - east conference team when we have home games. The last time a Southport Sharks QFA Colts team played footy was in September 2018, it was a great day !

18.01.2022 Our Colts (u18.5) pre season training kicks off on Tuesday the 19th of January on the Junior oval at the Southport Sharks from 6pm. If you are new to our club, a returning player or have finished playing junior football elsewhere, we invite all players who would like to join the Sharks to attend our first training session next Tuesday to meet the Coaching Team. 05.01.2022 Great weekend at the Sharks A big thank you to all our volunteers who help around the club each weekend getting all the kids on the park. Mums and dads who look after the score boards, time keeping, goal umpires water runners, runners and ground marshalls. To all our volunteers in the Canteen each and ever week, Thank You ! Thanks to all the visiting teams for sweeping the sheds and to everyone for registering their attendance at the venue. 03.01.2022 Coaching Appointments Southport Sharks QFA Colts u18.5 Garry Mann will take the reins as head Coach of the Southport Sharks Colts QFA team for the 2021 season. Garry played his junior football and senior football at Southport and has been a long standing coach at the club across multiple age groups.... Garry will be assisted by Brett Philips ex Maroochydore and David Kidd Southport. We wish our Coaches and players all the best for the 2021 season. Training dates and support staff to be announced shortly.
