You can be a part of their community art project by adding your palm trace to their patchwork blanket or join in their jelly bean count fundraiser (1 guess for $0.50 or 3 guesses for $1). All proceeds go to the Albany Community Christmas Luncheon.... This fun event has been put together by the students as part of their course. They came up with ideas from brainstorming and researching what other groups do around the world. A special thanks to the TAFE Applied Fashion department for donating the fabrics. At the end of their five-day course, they will have the skills to walk into entry-level jobs in cafés, restaurants and bars, and help local business operators fill staff vacancies. All keen as mustard, the students are learning the vital basics of hospitality with h...ands-on experience in preparing food and drinks and an introduction to the kitchen, bar and front-of-house, ready for jobs in this exciting industry.
