23.01.2022 Multicultural Day was a little different this year but that didn't stop it from being a huge success. Our hospitality and commercial cookery students should be extremely proud of the results. Students and staff supported the event wholeheartedly. The food was delicious and the students did an incredible job of coping with the demand. Thank you to all the students involved for sharing a piece of your culture with the rest of your TAFE community and making it such a special day.

20.01.2022 We welcomed the Hon. Sue Ellery, Minister for Education and Training, to the Bunbury campus this morning. Minister Ellery officially opened the new NDIS Training Centre on the campus. She then toured the building, which provides a state-of-the-art learning environment for delivery of the Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability and Ageing streams) and the Certificate IV in Ageing Support, which will help to meet local demand for skilled workers in the disability and... aged care sectors and enable graduates to deliver quality client care. The new COVID-19 Direct Care skill set providing participants with critical infection control skills for jobs in disability support and aged care will also be delivered at the training centre. 17.01.2022 DANCING INTO ENGLISH CLASSES Thank you to Maria Tinoco from South West Women's Health and Information Centre. Maria helps our Spoken and Written English classes by teaching them some dance moves. The students have the chance to take a body break and learn some moves from Maria before they head into afternoon lessons. The lessons also assist them with learning by encouraging students to follow verbal English instructions. Maria, from Mexico, empathises with students learning English as a second language and is happy to help
