08.01.2022 Our new kiln has arrived!!!!!!! Purchased with the assistance of a grant from the Dept. of Industry , Innovations & Science through the office of local MP, Ben Morton. Thanks to all involved, especially Chris Rogers for dealing with all of the paperwork involved!

06.01.2022 Great news - Our new ceramics studio is 'GO'!! City of Melville Council has approved funding for the design and construction of a wonderful new ceramics studio in the grounds of Atwell House. This is the result of several years of consultation and negotiation with the Council and the hard work and determination of a dedicated sub-committee led by Barrie-Anne Morgan. Thanks go to Cathy and Steven and everyone at CoM for great support and guidance through the long process. Now we are excited to see the start of construction and soon we will have a new home for the shiny new kiln that arrived last week.

05.01.2022 A great day today at the City of Melville Art Trail open studio day. Heaps of activity from the potters - raku, saggar firing, wheel work and hand building. Visitors were fascinated by the various processes and we got some nice pots to take home

05.01.2022 South of the River Potters' Club members will be busy tomorrow morning (Saturday) as part of the City of Melville Art Trail open studio event. Come along to Atwell House to see the potters in action and perhaps have a go at getting your hands into the clay for some fun.
