24.01.2022 Happy National Volunteer Week South Rockhampton Girl Guides couldn't exist without the wonderful people who give so much of their time and their heart and make a big difference to the lives of the girls and young women in Guiding. So to our Leaders, our unit helpers, our parent helpers and our support group members - We THANK YOU for all you do!

23.01.2022 Garage sale update: As lovely as this rain is we are having, we are mindful that if it continues to rain for the rest of the week, it will affect our garage sale. We will make a final decision on Friday whether we go ahead. If we do have to postpone it will be to the following weekend, 1st August. 15.01.2022 Mark your Calendars for the 25th July. We will be holding our Garage Sale in the grounds of our Guide hut at 32 Larnach Street Allenstown. Eftpos (square) will be available. Grab yourself a bargain and support Guides at South Rocky. In the event of bad weather on the day this garage sale will be postponed. Social distancing and Covid 19 measures to be followed. ... 10.01.2022 During these difficult times, community groups are struggling due to the inability to fundraise. South Rockhampton Girl Guides is asking that you consider donating your cans and bottles to our Organisation through the Containers for Change program to assist us with essential fundraising during these times. You can drop your containers off at depots and allocate to our Scheme ID : C10019579 If you would like to donate but cant drop off to a depot please contact us at : [email protected] and we can arrange someone to pick-up. 05.01.2022 Guiding at South Rocky has now resumed at the hut following a hiatus of face to face activities. *Junior Guides is for girls aged 5 to 9 years old and meets each Monday (during School term) between 5pm and 7pm. *Senior Guides is for Girls aged 10 + and meets each Tuesday (during School Term) between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
