08.01.2022 Do you know about the "Third Place?" Did you ever stop to think that Facebook is just one big community? It is becoming more popular everyday: however people still crave the human element. Face to face interaction is still a part of day to day life... There are most commonly three places where we live and breathe They are The First Place = Home The Second Place = Workplace The Third Place = An anchor of public life where diverse groups of people come together to form an ad-hoc community, like a Football club It has been proven that any club or community group can leverage a social vacuum and become relevant, by giving not just coaching and physical activity, but a sense of community. It is best to strive for the Monkey see - Monkey do approach. If people that are reluctant to volunteer see other people happily volunteer they tend to lean towards that type of activity It is also important that as a club we encourage all forms of support and criticism so we can give people a voice. After all, they are most likely to support the club if their child is receiving some additional benefit. So get out there and spread the word The future of our club is with our Youth and their supporters If you have any ideas or want some input into your club, drop us an email at [email protected]
