23.01.2022 We got started on the framing at Lewisham today! Here’s a satisfying video to see us in action and watch the weather roll by. We’ve enjoyed updating you on this build so far, and now the really exciting stuff begins! We’ll show you as it takes more shape. Thanks for watching

21.01.2022 We recently started a collab project with @southernbuilding building new units in Howrah. It’s all coming along very well & we are enjoying sharing the site with Jimmy’s fellas. Roofing up next & we’ll keep you updated

17.01.2022 At Lewisham today we are getting started on the bricklaying. Our client has chosen a dark brick with a black mortar & it’s going to look so good. This brickwork will be a combination of foundation and feature for this new home. We will update you all throughout this build, we are pretty excited for it!

13.01.2022 Busy busy busy kicking off the week all hands on deck, plumbers here, suns here, energy’s here! Roof going on this week we will update you on that

13.01.2022 The boys made good progress with the brickwork today in Lewisham. After last week’s snow it was time for a few days break as we didn’t want the wetness to effect the mortar. But hey, that’s building in Tasmanian winter for you! Any effects experienced from last weeks weather are not permanent and will be fixed with some TLC when the brickies are done laying. We are really excited for the progress shots to show you in the coming weeks, the new house will take shape pretty quickly. Keep an eye out! We love building and we love to be able to show you the progress!

There is some fine print you might be surprised to find out that could effect your chances of getting the grant! @southside_builders are licensed and experienced and well versed in the regulations required. 01.01.2022 Size does matter . We have started work on a deck extension - here we have completely taken down the original deck which (as you see from the before photos) was quite slim. The progress photos here today show the beginnings of a much larger, very practical new deck. This home gets all day sun, even beaming in til 9pm when it’s the peak of daylight savings. There will be many a good time shared on this deck for the whole family. We will of course show you further updates as they come, it’s going to be so good once it’s complete!
