22.01.2022 Unfortunately over the weekend we have had some grubs break into the club. This is very disappointing but not a set back. As usual the Sunnybank rugby league community has stood up and provided the support we needed. Can we please thank Elisha and Desmond for going down to stay at the club, crusher for doing some repairs to the damage caused, his beautiful partner Amanda for cooking some breakfast for those attending and last but not least Gordy for organising everything. This will not stop our momentum. This year is going to be one of our best. Hooray up the Sunnybank.

15.01.2022 While we are all in what is probably a first ever lockdown for some we would like to say thanks to a few people who continue to ensure our club is moving forward into 2021. A big thanks to the old boys for donating our new trolley trailer to move equipment and goods around the fields. Our fields are looking amazing with Gordan and Paul Nelms from Fine Quality Landscaping working tirelessly to get our fields back in top condition. A big thanks also to Timer and and his son Jack for helping Bronco with marking the fields for touch football and Haydn, Nate and Fynn Patterson for helping our president clean the front garden to the club. We appreciate all your help.

08.01.2022 NAIDOC Week 2020! Now more than ever is a significant time to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and achievements. It's also an opportunity for everyone in Australia to reflect on and make a priority the social and emotional wellbeing of Indigenous Australians. To protect elders and those in the community with chronic issues from the impacts of COVID19, this year the decision was made to move the official NAIDOC week celebrations from July to November. This year’s theme is Always Was, Always Will Be and it recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. How are you celebrating #NAIDOC2020? #alwayswasalwayswillbe

08.01.2022 Well we hope the off season and beginning of the festive season is treating you all well. As a club we have signed up to a new way of obtaining sponsorship and you all can help. It is called iSponsor. They have about 1000 different businesses both online and in store who donate a percentage of your business sales with them back to the club. The more we spend the more we make. The list of businesses is growing and we will be actively going out and about in the area looking to... get more involved. So what can you do. Simply download the app onto your phone and link the club. You then link your credit card or Visa etc and when you use the card at the businesses you will receive a notification on the phone with the amount you have made for the club. There is also a leader board to keep track. Maybe we can have as competition to see who can raise the most. So please help us out and get involved. Get your family involved. Every cent will count. If you have any questions please email [email protected] We thank you for your support and look forward to having you on board again next year. See more

03.01.2022 How good is this?! Two of Souths Sunnybanks most legendary GOAT’s !! Do you have any photos with any Souths Sunnybank alumni? Post them below!

03.01.2022 A friendly reminder that as of Monday you now need to wear a mask inside of our clubhouse and carry it on you at all times! All teams who have commenced are still training and there are more set to start next week (announcement in the coming days)! When training remember: - No shared equipment (bring your own water bottles, towels, etc.)... - Keep a good distance between you and your team mates! Stay safe Sunnybank family, crazy times at the moment! Stick together and stop the spread.

01.01.2022 We did announce this a couple weeks ago but we are here to remind you all of some very exciting news that's going to help us thrive in 2021.. This year we have partnered with iSponsor to help us fundraise and earn a few extra dollars that will go towards new equipment, more gear and more exciting surprises for our members in 2021 and beyond.. It is super easy to use and all you have to do to help is download the app (iSponsor) or follow the link -> https://isponsorapp.co...m/download/ and select South Sunnybank JRL as your club of choice and spend your normal every day money through the app. Some stores also have a cool little discount! We'd love it if you could jump onboard and help us out, it costs absolutely nothing to do but some of your purchases for literally anywhere could be potentially filtering back into grassroots Rugby League! How good is that?! Like and share this post and get your family and friends supporting the club and competing on the leader board!! We'll even have prizes for highest contributors throughout the year.
